The unidentified flying objects spotted in January off Newfoundland remain a mystery to the government, despite extensive scrutiny, according to Department of National Defence (DND) documents obtained by CBC News.

The documents contain grainy images of a rocket with a long, fiery tail soaring skyward. The reports rule out missiles and model rockets, but don't suggest what the images might show.

Military experts discredit the possibility of ballistic and cruise missiles. DND's Directorate of Scientific and Technical Intelligence (DSTI) assessed the images and reported: "The object is not a ballistic missile, not a cruise missile in boost phase nor a cruise missile in-flight phase. It is also not a licensed model rocket launcher."

The Jan. 25 sighting happened on the southern coast of Newfoundland near Harbour Mille. Several residents reported seeing the objects, including a woman who was able to photograph one of them. She reported to the RCMP that she had seen three missiles soaring over the ocean and it looked as if they had come up out of the water.

The DSTI says in the documents that the only missiles that can be launched from a submarine are ballistic or cruise missiles, but the country's top arms experts say the object photographed doesn't fit that profile.

"There are no distinguishing features on the object to use for identification … the shape of the flame is atypical of a missile launch," and "the length of the flame is greater than that of the rocket body. This eliminates the possibility that it is a cruise missile jet engine exhaust," said DSTI.

Undetected by Norad
The documents also note that it is the responsibility of the North American Aerospace Defence Command (Norad) to "provide aerospace warning and defence for North America," and that neither that agency, nor Canada Command, had any information on the rockets.

"NORAD and [Canada Command] have no evidence to support this sighting" reads the report.

The RCMP conducted an investigation, but according to the Jan. 28 report, the police didn't have an answer either.

"The RCMP … is calling the event an unexplained sighting."

The documents also say there were no navy ships involved, and no Canadian Forces missile exercises at the time.

The government has blocked nine pages and a several paragraphs of the UFO documents from public release.

One of the lines leading into a blocked-out portion reads, "Media reporting has linked the sightings to …"

At the time there was speculation the rockets may have come from a French submarine near St-Pierre-Miquelon, since a few days later the French government announced test-fires of its new M51 ballistic missiles were successful.

In a phone call Friday, however, the Directorate General of Armament for France said that the ballistic test-fires took place on Jan. 27, and not on Jan. 25, the day of the sightings off Newfoundland.

It is not clear if new information was uncovered about the UFO sighting since Feb. 1, as that date marked the closing time frame for the Access to Information request.

CBC News is awaiting the Department of Public Safety's response to the question of whether or not the UFO was eventually identified.

Stephen Hawkings UFO Blunder?

I haven't been adding to my Blog for so long, and I apologize for that. I was reading one of my favorite sites today, Alien UFO & The Paranormal Times, and I came across what I considered an interesting entry from another excellent site UFO Media Matters by Joe Capp

Stephen Hawking has made a major blunder when it comes to addressing the alien possibility. Maybe he has been watching too many “Independents Day” reruns. Dr. Hawking warns the populace of the world not to make ourselves known out there in the Universe or we may be very sorry. Steven goes on to imagine a planet of marauders attacking other planets to replace their own depleted resources. Because, of course, it was Stephen Hawking who made the statement, the whole counter scientific argument of “it’s too far to get here from there” is forgotten by the media, at least for a time. So it was all over the media who of course sensationalized it.
But does this argument hold any validity?
Does a species far advanced of us have to attack a world to get what they need? If you were in need of minerals and other materials why would you have to go to a world with complex life and destroy it? Why not just mine the moons. There are eight or nine planets around our sun and many moons around those planets. Not only is there an abundance of minerals on those bodies, but also ,it seems, water. Attacking a planet with 8 billion souls may be harder than it appears. When America went into Baghdad we had all our guns blasting. Our air superiority was second to none of this planet. But once we planted boots on the ground to mop up, we had the same problems we had in any war like this, a long drawn out struggle.
There is no doubt any Extra Terrestrial who managed star travel could destroy us in many ways…but would they have to? Using Mr. Hawking concept wouldn’t it be better to secretly use our world as a launching pad to excavate the moons and planets of our solar system. This could easily be done without undue suspicion from the locals, especially if they still lived a constant species centric existence. Any arguments that ETs couldn’t get away with this are laid to rest by credible reports of UFO craft over a mile in diameter hovering silently over various parts of our planet, never to be challenged. They are not challenged because they give no reason to be challenged. What we know now, from government released classified documents, is that when UFOs were challenged it was always a no- win situation for our pilots. There seems to be a common sense policy in place for all the governments: The governments know they only have a finite number of times they can chase UFOs they cannot catch. That is where we seem to be right now. Unless a UFO makes a nuisance of itself it is left alone.

Could an alien presence go undetected by our top scientists? When the smartest minds on our planet say it’s close to impossible for UFOs to be spacecraft, it becomes a rule in science. Even a monstrous evil ET could spot this and could use it very effectively without the need for violence. When you start to think about any ETs destroying whole planets of intelligent species from star to star you find an unstoppable message that is delivered which precludes any species from doing just that.
Of course the planet that you destroy gets the message but so does other intelligent species in the neighborhood who have star travel. How stupid would these other ETS have to be to ignore the potential wolves at their virtual doorstep?

Stephen Hawking could be accused of other short sightedness when he makes these proclamations. He assumes the materials we consider most important will be what they consider most important ten thousand years from now. I am sorry but the ET reports indicate they may feel the important material to gather is not outside our bodies but inside it. In this case, if you were gathering biological gold destroying a civilization would be crazy. In fact eventual contact may be necessary as the world progresses to discover you.
Think about that. Even now corporations are copyrighting biological material. How important will this material be in a hundred years, a thousand years or even a million? The report from the abductees seems to indicate exactly what ETs are doing here; collecting the very essence of us.
Are there other worlds that will buy these biological products or is the product an absolute necessity for survival and has to be gathered? Life is rarer than minerals and water and if they are here I would bet it’s about life.

It seems Stephen hasn’t really thought this through. Humans are not the template to judge other species actions in the Universe; especially if you are considering an advanced ET. I think we can all admit being hoodwinked by someone much smarter than you is not a disgrace.

Total destruction of a planet is so over the top now as to be ridiculous, and if you think about it, the reported ETs do not, in any way, reflect this idea. What we find seems a much more intelligent and complex being. We find them gathering material from us. We find them at times conditioning us to a presence. We find they are quick to run away and not fight. We find very little evidence of the great weapons we envisioned in our star war science fiction. We find a humbler ET not going out of their way to control us. We find ETs which are not here to save the world either. What is so striking about all this is that when you get into the detail s of reported ET actions and abductions they are not like anything we had imagine., maybe that is because they are real

Stephen Hawking is the one of the best minds our world has ever produced, however there seems to be brighter and wiser minds out there… who prevailed.

One of the markers of a truly advanced species, culture or consortium is efficiency (i.e. economy).

Predation is not an efficient means of sustenance, as it introduces significant risk factors to the dominant entity... and another marker of advanced intelligence is effective risk management.

Hawking blew it, and I hope he takes a [metaphorical] beating for capitulating to his fear, and, worse, for endeavoring to reproduce his phobia on a mass scale.

I guess my wife is right I am a weirdo and a crank. The interesting part about this is when any UFO case is reported in the news you always have the debunker explaining to everyone how it is impossible to get here from another star system. But good old Steven he can get away with it. I think you are dead on when it comes to Hawking and UFOs. I would like Edgar Mitchell to drop him a note and let Mr. Hawking call him crank or a wierdo.

Good point. I would hope that any advanced species would have solved many of the problem perplexing us, otherwise I don't think they would make it. Destroying worlds is a messy business. There may have been, in the past, some cases of Alien nastiness on earth but hardly on an worldwide scale.

They operate in secrecy, conduct a cover-up, and deeply and often traumatically impact people's lives.

Now, I have no idea for sure if UFOs, any of them, represent 'extraterrestrials' however, all evidence gathered to date shows that we have every reason to be deeply suspicious of them.

Just what species do you belong to after all?

We may even be 'ants' relative to these UFO occupants but at least I intend to be on the 'ants' side of the equation.

It's like the 1968 NSA document called UFO Hypothesis and Survival Questions" says, "Up until this time, the leisurely scientific approach has too often taken precedence in dealing with UFO questions. If you are walking along a forest path and someone yells 'rattler' your reaction would be immediate and defensive. You would not take time to speculate before you act. You would have to treat the alarm as if it were a real and immediate threat to your survival. Investigation would become an intensive emergency action to isolate the threat and to determine its precise nature. It would be geared to developing adequate defensive measures in a minimum amount of time. It would seem a little more of this survival attitude is called for in dealing with the UFO problem."

Hawkings is wise to suggest caution. To assume anything about what an alien civilization would do or is doing without real evidence is asking for trouble. You assume a threat until proven otherwise ...unless survival is a secondary goal. Just because a society employs high technology doesn't mean it is advanced socially in such a way that would mesh with human society. And as the document says elsewhere there are certain seeming inescapable sociological and physiological ramifications of contact with a significantly more advanced civilization that would not benefit us in the least.

I think the main thing is "who knows?" and when you don't know it pays to be careful. I think we need to seriously prepare as global community (the U.N.?)for meeting threats coming from off-planet. This includes asteroids, solar flares, and roving bands of alien marauders hell bent on stealing all of our shiny things and wimmings.

However Stevens' red flag is a false flag. Any sufficiently advanced civilization with star travel would have found easier ways to spot planets like ours. I still believe warlike ET entities would have been taken care of by other advanced species long ago. Of course they could be the top of the stellar food chain in this part of the neighborhood. If that's the case it's probably too late now anyway.

They don't have to be warlike at all, just sufficiently "different" or "advanced" to have unintentional adverse effects on human society. There things as bad or worse than "war-like". They might see us as the Christian missionaries saw the natives of the North American continent, savages who need conversion and their brand of "civilization."

We shouldn't assume anything one way or the other, we just need make sure we hope for the best but plan for the worst. Making contact with "ET" (whatever they are, where ever they come from) is going to have its consequences and we need to be prepared for them. Someone knocking on the door and asking for a cup of Dysprosium isn't out of the realm of possibility.

That sounds familiar. Patriot Act familiar. Death squad familiar. Pat Tillman familiar. All kinds of familiar.

UFO encounters can be quite profound. The extent to which they rise to the level of traumatic, I believe, very often corresponds to our individual and collective response to the phenomenon - and those responses, regardless of their nature, are cultivated in the darkness of societal ignorance: some of it willful; much of it, not (i.e. State cultivation of ignorance through propaganda).

The official and unofficial response: Declaring witnesses psychological aberrations, and/or other sanctions intended to make life extremely uncomfortable for people with the earth-shattering temerity to describe events which contradict the official line/lie.

Now *that* is a veritable fountain of trauma - manufactured, deliberate, systemic, punitive trauma - and it represents a greater immediate threat to me - by far - than any cosmic/transdimensional intelligence I've thus far encountered.

Now, I have no idea for sure if UFOs, any of them, represent 'extraterrestrials' however, all evidence gathered to date shows that we have every reason to be deeply suspicious of them.

Perhaps the evidence validators are cherry-pickers much like the scientists, politicians and bureaucrats they accuse, with ample reason, of intellectual dishonesty.

My life, which I was quite happy with before peeling this onion, has been vastly enriched by my experiences, and I know for a fact I'm not the only one. Far from it.

In fact, one of the things that surprises me is the degree to which people with positive contact experience are frequently perceived as Manchurian Candidates by the same people who keep the tissue box stocked for abductees with horror stories. If it bleeds, it leads.

One that thinks extremely highly of itself, considering the rank exploitation of its poorest, most vulnerable members.

When governments and the governing class invoke concerns about threats, the top of the priority list is reserved for defending the global economic order - the system from which, according to the rule makers, all good things flow. To them.

Over and over, the people and institutions making the rules on the trigger-end of the gun demonstrate that their interests are not mine, and, in fact, are antithetical to interests of the vast majority of human beings and other life forms on this planet.

When adopting a defensive posture, it pays to be cognizant of what one is defending and why.

As for the way the sleepy media's ears perked up at the word 'threat' and have rolled with it like an avalanche no one needed or asked for, well who can blame them? Our media is fear-centric. But this is how people way in the mainstream begin to change beliefs from 'are they out there' to 'how much time do we have to dig a root cellar to hide the kids in before the lasers start falling?" And in a way, that's good, if full disclosure is what you're after.

But I fear full disclosure will be a little like lifting up your blanket after a long night's sleep to find a giant mantis gnawing on your leg, and to realize he's been there the whole time, long before our strain of humanity even began, and we're basically snack food... unless of course we can evolve into a state of energy light and expanded enough to get through their nets and back into the light of pure being. We will cease to have a history as we've ever understood it. The wool is over our eyes for a purpose, and if you wonder why, just watch the news' treatment of 'the alien threat!' Unless you want to put Astronaut Gorden Cooper the hundreds of pilots, scientist, radar operators, State Governors, police and even Presidents into a cranks and weirdos baskets.

They think they have the power because they have a title and I really hate their attitude toward everything else that don't fit their own belief system.

Theoretical physicists and cosmologists talk so much crap and change their mind whenever they want. I usually believe very little of everything they say.

I think Hawking has been watching a lot of "V" episodes lately.

I could ask Stephen Hawking about the ten top Project Bluebook unknowns and he wouldn't have the faintest idea of what I was talking about. He is an expert at what he does and what he does has nothing to do with UFOs.
This is, and has been, the major problem with scientist. They sound so full of themselves there is no room left for pure science.

I don't know, it sounds like an intelligent thing to do to me. What "evidence" and "hard work" are you referring to specifically? In other words what evidence are you aware of that would fit the criteria for risking your credibility were you in Hawkings position?

When people talk about Disclosure I have to wonder just where this disclosure of information is supposed to come from. The government? We trust the government to tell us the truth do we? That is assuming they know the truth which seems highly unlikely in any scenario you care to run. You want to hear the government say "aliens are here" or something like that? How do we know they are "aliens from another world" ... because they told us? We should believe them?

Are we hoping for Disclosure from whatever is behind the phenomena? Well, since the phenomena has always been in control of the secrecy and disinformation surrounding it it seems logical to expect any "real" disclosure of information about it to originate there. However, given its track record, it would appear the whatever is behind the phenomena has no interest in "disclosing" anything truthful about itself to us. It hasn't for as long as it has been here (thousands of years?, if so are they really from another planet then?) so why should it change its mind now? If it follows the trend indicated by its history ...it won't.

And I wonder what the chances of that happening are? No, really. I would put right up there with Disclosure ...somewhere between slim and none.

It seems to me that the most likely scenario for "Disclosure" is one that involves open war breaking out between Earth's military/security forces and the phenomena or whatever is behind it. This seems pretty remote as well though.

Disclosure was movement created by Dr. Steven Greer. Getting the witnesses together and trying to use them effectively could have been a smart move. Then Greer made it impossible to succeed it what they could have really done; release of all classified UFO documents. Instead Greer decided to tell the government publicly what secrets they were keeping. After that the serious journalist said what? Their first press conference was the first and last media attended press conference.
Disclosure hangs on as a word in the UFO community but it means many things to many different people insuring that what ever may be Disclosed in the future we will find some group within our midst saying their lying.
As for Sir Stephen, many of them don't believe in God but sometimes they pontificate just like one.

Nasa Bombs the Moon with no Visible Flash

A pair of NASA spacecraft smashed into the moon at twice the speed of a bullet, as part of a mission aimed at blasting up signs of water ice.
Pictures of the impact zone were beamed back live to Earth, but the video imagery did not show any signs of a flash.
"It's hard to tell what we saw there," said Michael Bicay, director of science at NASA's Ames Research Center in California.
The first crash took place at 7:31 a.m. ET. That’s when an empty rocket that weighed 2.2 tons hit the crater Cabeus. It was expected to create a crater about 66 feet (20 meters) wide, which is half the length of an Olympic pool. The blast should have kicked up a plume of lunar debris about six miles (10 kilometers) high.
Scientists hoped an analysis of the debris would confirm the theory that water — a key resource if people are going to go back to the moon — is hidden below the barren moonscape.
Trailing behind the rocket was the lunar probe LCROSS, short for Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite and pronounced L-Cross. For four minutes, the LCROSS shepherding spacecraft sent Earth live pictures of the rocket stage's expected impact zone in multiple wavelengths — and then plunged into the crater itself.
Telescopes focus on crash siteTelescopes around the world — including the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope — aimed their cameras at the moon to capture views of the dust-up.
At least one telescope team, at the MMT Observatory in Arizona, reported spotting a bright debris plume. The visible-light images sent back by LCROSS itself showed no sign of such a plume, although Bicay noted that evidence of a crash did turn up in thermal imagery.
LCROSS project manager Dan Andrews said it was possible that the lighting was bad for the spacecraft's images, and that those images needed to be tweaked to make the debris plume easier to see. The raw images could have been essentially “gray against black,” he said.
“What matters for us is: What is the nature of the stuff that was kicked up going in?” Andrews said. “All nine instruments were working fine and we received good data.”
The data will be analyzed for weeks to come. If the analysis shows no signs of water, that would run counter to recent findings suggesting that lunar soil, also known as regolith, contains more water ice than previously thought.
However, Bicay said there could be other explanations for the absence of a water signal. For example, it may be that the water is unevenly distributed — even within the permanently shadowed polar craters that are thought to be the best prospects for ice mining. Bicay said LCROSS' scientists may have come across a situation familiar to Texas oil wildcatters.
"We may have hit a dry hole rather than a wet hole," he said.
Mission ends after mere monthsLaunched in LCROSS and its bigger rocket stage launched together last June and only separated Thursday night, the last major milestone before the big crash.
The lunar demolition derby was broadcast live on NASA Television and on the Internet. NASA reported that as many as 391,000 Internet users were watching the webcast concurrently. That made it the space agency's third biggest Web video event, behind the space shuttle Discovery's launch and landing in 2005.

How to Watch NASA's Probe Smack the Moon

Get ready for a unique cosmic collision! Early this coming Friday morning (Oct. 9), NASA's Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) will end its mission with a bang — literally.

Currently carrying with it the upper stage of the rocket that launched it on its way to the moon on June 18, the game plan is to send that spent rocket motor on a course to smash into the lunar surface. But just not anywhere on the lunar surface, but to a thoroughly scrutinized crater called Cabeus that lies near the moon's south pole and is enveloped in perpetual darkness. The hoped-for resultant effects will be to find hidden water ice frozen inside the crater.

And for seasoned skywatchers here on Earth, it should also produce a visible cloud of ejected material. However, only knowledgeable amateur astronomers with the right equipment will be a able to detect the event. Others can watch the event live on NASA TV.

Smackdown!

The general belief among astronomers is that over the last few billion years, the moon has been bombarded by countless numbers of comets. The water from most of these comets completely sublimated away but if any settled at the bottom of a crater near the moon's poles, these permanently shadowed regions can keep the water from disappearing, remaining as ice for a very long time.

Cabeus is a relatively flat crater about 60 miles in diameter on the moon's south pole that scientists believe may be one of those special cases that might hold water ice in its perpetually shadowed top soil. NASA initially selected a different target for LCROSS, the nearby crater of Cabeus A, but switched to the larger Cabeus because data suggested it had a higher likelihood of containing hidden water ice.

The impact is scheduled to occur this Friday, Oct. 9 at 11:30 UT. That's 7:30 a.m. EDT; 4:30 a.m. PDT. To convert Universal Time to your local time, go here.

Impact will happen less than 10 hours after the spent LCROSS Centaur rocket motor is released and its Shepherding Spacecraft maneuvers into position to trail the Centaur en route to the lunar surface. The 5,000-pound Centaur, is expected to slam into Cabeus at a sharp angle at a speed of 5,600 mph (9,010 kph).

If all goes according to schedule, the Shepherding vehicle, carrying nine science payloads, will follow the Centaur's plunge into the moon, beaming back data live to the Earth. Like a bullet hitting sand, the Centaur's explosive collision is expected to create a crater roughly 60 or 70 feet wide and perhaps as much as 16 feet deep, in the process dredging up approximately 385 tons of lunar dust and soil — enough to fill nearly 18 school buses. In addition to recording the collision, the Shepherding Satellite will fly through the regolith plume thrown up by the collision, just before it too slams into the lunar surface some four minutes later, kicking up its own smaller plume of debris.

But before it's sacrificed in the cause of science, the 1,500-pound Shepherding Spacecraft will utilize its specialized sensors and will look for water's telltale chemical signature within the larger debris plume created by the Centaur, possibly in the form of ice, hydrocarbons or hydrated materials.

How to watch

NASA wants the amateur astronomer community to join in a "citizen scientist" program. Jennifer Heldmann heads the LCROSS observing campaign. "We would like to have as many eyes and instruments watching the impact as possible because this is the way we'll get the most data and the most information as possible."

Those who live to the west of Mississippi River will have the best opportunity because the sky will still be dark. Those living east of the Mississippi will still have the moon in the sky, but either dawn twilight or — in the case of those living along the Atlantic Seaboard — sunrise will have occurred, making for a much brighter sky background. A dark backdrop will be an important prerequisite, since it's estimated that when the debris plume forms on it will be no brighter than a sixth-magnitude star (the threshold of naked-eye visibility), and quite likely even fainter.

If you want to attempt to see the impact yourself, here are some important points to be aware of:

First, you're going to need a moderately large telescope, somewhere on the order of at least 10 to 12 inches of aperture. Smaller telescopes will probably not be able to do the job and you will definitely not see anything using binoculars. You'll likely need to use magnifications in the 250 to 500-power range to have a legitimate chance of getting a glimpse of the dim impact plume.

Keep in mind that high power dilutes the brightness of an image, as well as aggravates any unsteadiness of detail. As a general rule of thumb that the maximum amount of magnification for any telescope is 50-power per inch of aperture.

"But wait a minute," you may protest, "my telescope comes with a special Barlow lens, that the manufacturer promises will double or even triple the magnification of my eyepiece."

True enough. In fact, that aforementioned 500-power is likely achieved by pushing the scope's highest power eyepiece with that very same Barlow lens, which ultimately will result in a dim, impossibly fuzzy image. If you're a beginner, you need to understand that that using a Barlow lens is similar to enlarging a photograph. The negative — like a telescope's image — contains only so much detail, which can be blown up only so far before all you can see is fuzz! So, if you have a 3-inch department store telescope — even if it is blessed with perfect optics — the claim of 500-power is more than three times the limit of the most practical magnification that it can provide.

The impact will take place at the lunar south pole, or on the lower limb of the moon along the dark portion immediately adjacent to the terminator (the line that separates the illuminated day side and the dark night side of the Moon). Try to keep the very bright sunlit portion of the moon out of the field of view as much as possible.

The plume is expected to be in the shape of a "V" but it will be exceedingly small in size relative to the moon itself. According to NASA's Brian H. Day, the dusty material is only expected to rise about 6 miles (10 km) above the lunar surface. From Earth, that would be equal to about one-quarter of 1 percent of the moon's apparent size or about 5.2 arc seconds.

To try and get an idea of just how large this is, point your telescope toward Jupiter which conveniently shines in the southern part of our current evening sky. Jupiter's disk currently measures 45-arc seconds in diameter; so the dust plume from LCROSS would appear only about 1/9 as large as that!

And the plume — if and when it's visible — will not last very long. The best guesstimates are that it will last no more than 2 minutes.

As of May 04th, Brazilian Government has disclosed over 600 new pages of previously classified documents, covering UFO reports and military investigations from 1970 to 1979, including photos and films, for the first time.The content of this material has now been examined and proved to be very interesting and revelatory of Brazilian official strategy to cover UFO cases, often openly regarded as "from external sources" in these new documents, meaning from outside Earth. The cases covered and the methods used to investigate them by the military are also very significant.On my opinion, the most important material contained in this new declassification are 195 new pages of documents resulted from the Operation Saucer, conducted in the Amazon by the Brazilian Air Force from September to December 1977, that is certainly the biggest *known* official initiative to military investigate UFOs in the world.As I also reported, so far, over 1,400 pages of Brazilian previously classified UFO documents have been released thanks to the efforts of the Brazilian UFO Researchers Committee (CBU), through the campaign UFOs: Freedom of Information Now, started in 2004 and articulated by the Brazilian UFO Magazine. O'Hare International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies, said some United Airlines employees who observed the phenomenon. Was it an alien spaceship? A weather balloon lost in the airspace over the world's second-busiest airport? A top-secret military craft? Or simply a reflection from lights that played a trick on the eyes? Officials at United professed no knowledge of the Nov. 7 event--which was reported to the airline by as many as a dozen of its own workers--when the Tribune started asking questions recently. But the Federal Aviation Administration said its air traffic control tower at O'Hare did receive a call from a United supervisor asking if controllers had spotted a mysterious elliptical-shaped craft sitting motionless over Concourse C of the United terminal.
No controllers saw the object, and a preliminary check of radar found nothing out of the ordinary, FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said.
The FAA is not conducting a further investigation, Cory said. The theory is the sighting was caused by a "weather phenomenon," she said.The UFO report has sparked some chuckles among controllers in O'Hare tower."To fly 7 million light years to O'Hare and then have to turn around and go home because your gate was occupied is simply unacceptable," said O'Hare controller and union official Craig Burzych.Some of the witnesses, interviewed by the Tribune, said they are upset that neither the government nor the airline is probing the incident.Whatever the object was, it could have interfered with O'Hare's radar and other equipment, and even created a collision risk, they said.The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (the term that extraterrestrial-watchers nowadays prefer over Unidentified Flying Object) was first seen by a United ramp worker who was directing back a United plane at Gate C17, according to an account the worker provided to the National UFO Reporting Center.The sighting occurred during daylight, about 4:30 p.m., just before sunset.All the witnesses said the object was dark gray and well defined in the overcast skies. The databases of various UFO-watching groups are full of accounts filed by pilots about sightings of unknown aircraft and anomalies that affected navigational equipment onboard planes.Whether any of the UFO incidents are real or merely the result of individual perceptions, some experts say the events pose a potential safety risk to pilots and their passengers."There have been documented cases where safety appears to have been implicated, and more and more we are coming to the point of view that we are dealing with an intelligent phenomenon," said Richard Haines, science director at the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena, a private agency."We must be proactive before an aircraft goes down," said Haines, a former chief of the Space Human Factors Office at NASA's Ames Research Center.
Haines is investigating the O'Hare incident. Let’s get the easy part out of the way first. UFO’s, some of which are of extraterrestrial origin, exist, and have been engaging earth for decades, if not millennia. Anyone who doubts that statement is either seriously uninformed about the mountain of UFO/ET evidence that keeps surfacing daily, or is in deep denial.
Anyone who immerses themselves in this topic, and thinks about it critically on their own, can only come to one informed conclusion. Those of us who have taken the time to do this are way beyond the debate of whether UFO’s, in the popular vernacular, are real or not. We understand, first and foremost, that these things are neither unidentified by those in the know, nor do they “fly” in the traditional sense of the word.
But why, some may ask, even if the phenomenon is real, is it considered such a big deal? So what, they may argue, if aliens are buzzing around our skies and compromising sovereign air space over countries in every part of the world? They aren’t causing any damage; aren’t threatening us in any perceivable way, don’t appear to want to get involved in earthly affairs, and generally stay at arms length minding their own business. Let’s get on with more important things, right? WRONG. Dead wrong.

Every time a new president takes the oath of office, there is a flurry of anticipation and hope among those in the UFO awareness community that this finally will be the “disclosure president” – the one who will understand the phenomenon enough to end the decades-long truth embargo that has hijacked human evolution, and caused untold indirect suffering to millions of people worldwide. And every four or eight years hopes are dashed when it becomes clear that the new president, just like those before him, is out of the loop, and doesn’t have the “need to know” authority to penetrate the black world of UFO secrecy.
As important as 9-11 Truth is, UFO Disclosure is even more so. For while both of these important hidden truths would expose the ruling elite for who, and what they are, and lead to the end of evil control by these monsters going back hundreds of years to powerful European families, UFO Disclosure would take things a few steps further.
Peaceful cooperation and exchange among our space visitors, and full acknowledgement of their technologies, which are estimated to be millions, and in some cases billions, of years more advanced than our own, would be possible. Some contactees have already reported that these beings, from as many as several hundred different civilizations throughout the cosmos, are here to assist us through the self-destructive adolescent stage of our evolutionary development. Additionally, honest UFO Disclosure would short circuit the elites’ plan for their own form of Disclosure – one wrapped in xenophobia for the purpose of furthering their own sick agenda of global control. If 9-11 worked so well in providing a pretext for a phony “war on terror”, think of what could happen with a phony “war on the aliens”.
The Obama administration, though already perceived by some to be controlled by the same anti-Disclosure forces that have existed since the time of Truman, has shown a reason for a glimmer of hope. His Jan 21, 2009 memorandum clearly supports the Freedom of Information Act, with more transparency and less secrecy in government, which some see as an indication he could force this issue. John Podesta, who has already played a role in the Obama administration’s selection of key people, was an outspoken advocate for UFO Disclosure under Clinton, and is on public record for saying as much.

A British UFO researcher may hold a vital clue that could help prove a flying saucer crashed into the Troodos mountains 35 years ago. Gary Heseltine, the editor of the popular UFO Monthly magazine, has taken possession of several items of unidentified debris collected by a former British soldier who claims to have witnessed a UFO fall to earth in 1973. In his detailed account, Corporal Tom Clarke, who was part of a six man British Army unit on a late night patrol recalled what happened when spotted strange lights in the sky. “We were all awoken at about 2am by a brilliant bluish dazzling bright light in the sky, what happened next is hard to explain. There was not an explosion, but we were all hit by a shockwave and fell flat to the ground. The light just disappeared or went out,” Clarke recalled. The team of dazed soldiers quickly found the crash site which was located some 200 metres down the mountain and additional military personal were called in to investigate. The soldiers were ordered to collect debris and place it into black plastic bags; Corporal Clarke managed to conceal some small pieces of golden tinted foil from amongst the wreckage – which is now in the hands of UFO Magazine. “After what seemed like hours a halt was called and we were all lined up and told that under no circumstances were we to talk about what we had been doing and that we were forbidden to take anything from the site under threat of Court Martial. “We were then all taken from the area by helicopter and flown to Alexander Barracks in Dhekelia where we were interviewed separately.I was asked to describe exactly what I had seen and was warned again not to discuss with anyone the events that had occurred.” Soon afterwards all six men who witnessed the crash were posted to different foreign locations and nothing more was heard about events of that night in 1973-- until now. Gary Heseltine is convinced that Clarke has given a credible and genuine account of the mysterious events of 1973.

Bad Astronomy and Ufos

Here’s something that I find incredibly amusing. An expert in one subject being asked an opinion in an related subject and then answering the question with misinformation. You would think that a scientist would want to know the facts before he made a claim that is so easily refuted.
I’m thinking here of Phil Plait and his Bad Astronomy column in which he talked about UFOs just a couple of days ago. He was suggesting that when he lectured, he was often asked if he believed in aliens and flying saucers. His answer was, "Yes and no."
He meant, quite clearly, and he did explain it, that he believed there was life on other planets, mainly those outside the Solar System and that he didn’t believe we were being visited. His reasoning? He wrote:
Amateur astronomers, of course. They are dedicated observers, out every night peering at the sky. If The Truth Is Out There, then amateur astronomers would be reporting far and away the vast majority of UFOs.
But they don’t. Why not? Because they understand the sky! [Emphasis in original] They know when a twinkling light is Venus, or a satellite, or a military flare, or a hot air balloon, and so they don’t report it.
That, to me, is the killer argument that aliens aren’t visiting us. If they were, the amateur astronomers would spot them.
The problem here is that astronomers, both professional and amateur have reported UFOs, and if we add in atmospheric scientists, we increase the pool of those who understand the sky and who have reported UFOs.
Examples you say?
Certainly. The one that springs immediately to mind is Clyde Tombaugh who was credited with discovering the now dwarf planet, Pluto. In 1949, at 10:45, Tombaugh, his wife and his mother-in-law saw something strange in the night sky. The full report is now housed at the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies in Chicago, and I have held the original report in my hands (and I wonder what that document would bring on eBay?).
Tombaugh wrote, "I happened to be looking at the zenith... when suddenly I spied a geometrical group of faint bluish-green rectangles of light... As the group moved south-southeasterly, the individual rectangles became foreshortened, their space of formation smaller... and their intensity duller, fading from view at about 35 degrees above the horizon... My wife thought she saw a faint connecting glow across the structure."
I’m sure that we’re about to hear that Dr. Donald Menzel, the UFO debunker and critic of anyone who suggested that any UFOs are anything other than misidentifications or hoaxes, was able to solve the sighting. He suggested that "a low, thin layer of haze or smoke reflected the lights of a distant house or some other multiple source."
Tombaugh, who saw the objects replied to Menzel, who didn’t see them, writing, "I doubt that the phenomenon was any terrestrial reflection, because in that case some similarity to it should have appeared many times... nothing of the kind has ever appeared before or since."
Well, a UFO sighting by one astronomer does not make the complete case, so let’s take a look at that paragon of scientific investigation, the Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects now almost universally called the Condon Committee. They, of course, didn’t bother with their own research, but quoted from Project Blue Book Report No. 8 dated 31 December 1952.
The Blue Book astronomical consultant (which they don’t name but everyone today knows it was Dr. J. Allen Hynek, seen here) interviewed 44 astronomers about their attitudes about UFOs and found, not surprisingly, that most were completely indifferent to UFOs, or at best, mildly interested. Only eight said they were very interested.
The important point here is that five of them, according to Hynek, "made sightings of one sort or another. This is a higher percentage than among the populace at large. Perhaps this is to be expected since astronomers do, after all, watch the skies."
Hynek said that when he told these astronomers that there were some cases that were highly interesting and in which there was no easy solution, their interest was "almost immediately aroused."
This, of course, goes back to the original comment that amateur astronomers don’t see flying saucers and if they don’t, then there simply can’t be anything to them. But here we’re talking about the professionals, who confided in Hynek because he was a colleague. Hynek, because of his position with Project Blue Book had some inside knowledge about UFOs and he was taking the whole thing seriously.
Hynek, in his report added another comment that explains part of this perception that astronomers don’t see UFOs. Hynek noted, "And certainly another contributing factor to their desire not to talk about these things is their overwhelming fear of publicity. One headline in the nation’s papers to the effect that ‘Astronomer Sees Flying Saucer’ would be enough to brand the astronomer as questionable among his colleagues."
So now we learn that astronomers do see UFOs and they do not report them for fear of professional ridicule. I heard one professional astronomer, in the 1970s, when asked what he thought of Hynek’s work reply, "Allen always wanted to discover a new constellation."
What that tells us is that Hynek’s interviews of two decades earlier were still true in the 1970s, and we know that it is true today. We still have the professional scientists making pronouncements on the topic without benefit of personal knowledge. They are all too willing to dismiss the topic without bothering to learn the facts because, to do so, they would have to wade through oceans of ill-informed skeptical comment, such as Menzel’s dismissal of Tombaugh’s sighting.
But let’s ask one other question. When does anecdotal testimony become scientific observation? When does the training of the person making those observations suggest some sort of expertise? Does a pilot, military or commercial, with tens of thousands of hours in the cockpit, who is familiar with what is in the sky, make anecdotal statements or refined scientific commentary?
What about the use of instrumentation? Charles Moore (seen here), the man who claims to have launched the balloon array that explains the Roswell UFO crash has his own, unexplained UFO sighting. On April 24, 1949 Moore and four Navy technicians in New Mexico were tracking a weather balloon using a theodolite that consisted of a 25-power telescope equipped to provide readings on vertical and horizontal bearings. Given his observations as it passed in front of a mountain range, he estimated the UFO was traveling at 18,000 mph, before it disappeared in a sharp climb.
Here was a man who was familiar with the sky, who watched the object through a theodolite so that he could make educated estimates of the object’s ability, and who reported this to Project Blue Book. The sighting is labeled as "unidentified."
Menzel, of course, knew that this couldn’t be anything extraordinary. According to him he could identify the object. In a conversation with Moore, Menzel said that it was no object at all but a mirage, an atmospheric reflection of the true balloon, making it appear as if there were two objects in the sky instead of one. He was so sure of this that he told Moore about the solution.
Moore, however, describes himself as an atmospheric physicist and considers himself as qualified as Menzel to discuss the dynamics of the atmosphere. And, according to Moore in an interview I conducted on El Paso radio station KTSM, the weather conditions were not right for the creation of mirages that day. Since Moore was on the scene, and since his training qualified him to make judgements about the conditions of the atmosphere, his conclusions are more important than Menzel’s wild speculations.
Moore is no fan of the extraterrestrial, as evidenced by some of his statements about the Roswell case and UFOs to various writers, including me. But, his sighting stands as one that should be counted as a scientific observation rather than as mere anecdotal testimony.
I could go on, but what’s the point. I have refuted the original idea that astronomers do not see UFOs. I have provided the documentation for this claim, and for those interested in Moore’s sighting, it is housed in the Project Blue Book files. Only the names have been removed, but we can, in most cases, put those names back in. In my Project Blue Book - Exposed, I have a listing of all the Blue Book unidentified cases.
So, now that we know that astronomers do see UFOs and some even report them, where do we go? These scientists are familiar with the sky, they understand what is in the sky, but sometimes they see things that are extraordinary and that do not fit into the nice little categories we have created for them. Sometimes, you could say, they see flying saucers.

Are Ufos, Aliens and Ghosts Becoming More Popular In Belief Than God?

Believers in UFOs, aliens and ghosts outnumber those who follow mainstream religions, a survey has found.

While 54 per cent of people believe in God, 58 per cent believe in the supernatural.
Researchers found women were more likely to believe in the supernatural than men, and were more likely to visit a medium.
Nearly a quarter of the 3,000 questioned by researchers claimed they had an encounter with the paranormal.
Some 37 per cent said aliens and ghosts were the basis of their belief system.
The study, to mark the DVD release of X Files: I Want to Believe, conflicts with another report that showed 68.5 per cent of the general UK population described themselves as believers .
Files released in October revealed cases of passenger jets nearly colliding with UFOs and reports of alien abduction which have been logged by the Ministry of Defence.
The 19 files, disclosed by the National Archives which date from 1986 to 1992, show the extensive records of strange sightings by members of the public and unexplained radar images from air traffic control.
In the files, the military admitted the sighting in April 1991 could not be explained, having ruled out a British or American missile.
It concluded: "In the absence of any clear evidence which could be used to identify the object, it is our intention to treat this sighting like that of any other Unidentified Flying Object."

Motivations
In determining the motivations for the continuing secrecy about their extraterrestrial associations, it is easy for us to assign human governmental and corporate participants that of greed and power lust. But how should we interpret the silence of our visitors themselves? What particular insight do we have into extraterrestrial behavior that might give us some idea of their ulterior motives for associating with our planet through such a continuous, clandestine and covert manner?
While the obvious duplicity and deceitfulness of our own governments and corporations does not surprise us, the fact that our visitors choose to associate with us only through them may be an indication of either their perceptive abilities in general or their ulterior motives.
We Have Never Been Alone
Researchers and students of alien intervention in human history have developed evidence that the visitors are not strangers to this planet. It may be that these alien visitors are our ancestors or progenitors [1]. The Vatican's chief astronomer, Father Jose Gabriel Funes [2], has suggested that the visitors are simply our brothers. Regardless of our familiar relationship, we must assume that the visitors know more about human behavior than their seemingly innocent and naive choice of diplomatic liaison may suggest.
Are we to assume that an advanced civilization has stumbled upon earth, and has, as part of its normal scientific protocols, revealed itself to the ruling classes of this variegated planet, and has passed revolutionary scientific and technological materiel to the reigning super-powers? Has the same advanced species that guided our evolution from Neolithic times decided to ally itself with the military industrial complex in an act of good faith and honesty? Was it simply bested by our political shenanigans? Are we to believe that now this alien benefactor is having difficulty extricating itself from these relationships and agreements, and only wishes to make itself known to the good people of earth? Is all that is standing in its way merely the entrenched and violent human leaders of this planet?
Perhaps we should rather assume that this secrecy is, by implication, attributable to the visitors themselves, and that their true motives and designs for this planet may be at least as unpalatable as those of their local tetrarchs to date in this truth embargo. For even an imbecilic marketing major could, with appropriate technology, inundate our planet, through its ubiquitous communication channels and resources, with the simple truth that they are here and are our friends [3]. Our visitor's silence may rather be indicative of the true nature of their advances.
We are relatively certain that there are a number of species of non-ordinary sentient life form visiting, or showing up, on earth today. These people are technologically superior to ordinary humans. We perceive that they have been involved with the human condition as far back as we can see, and we find that some of these species have had a hand in our creation [4]. We can also perceive the hand of these people in the development of our social norms, governments, value systems, science and ethics. Acknowledging the persistent presence of these people clarifies a number of mysteries on our planet and in our history.
These people, or similar types, were involved with the ancients and were most likely responsible for the very early and advanced cultures of Sumer, Akkad, Assyria and possibly Egypt [5]. It was their presence on earth that gave us legends of Mu, Atlantis, Lemuria and Shangri-La - the utopian dreams. Societal divisions and religious development of seven millennia are traceable to these people and thus the entire path of human evolution and cultural divergence are in no small part the long work and practice of these people.
Seeing that we have cooperatively made such a mess of this beautiful place already, that their life's work seems to have actually been to change and modify our species into the life forms which do precisely what we do here today, what can be said of the motivations of these people's continuous presence on our planet and their history of relationship with the powers that be?
Reducing the level of confusion and contradiction as much as possible, let us look at a few things in a simplistic manner, taking a very straight forward look at the possible motivations which present themselves in consideration of our guests (or, hosts).
The EBEs which have been prominent in the last three generations are either associated with the more ancient types or they are not. They are either the same ones or descendants of the ones here long ago or they are a group or groups who are not associated with our past. In the latter case, these dozen or more alien species may have simply stumbled upon our wonderful planet, and set to work as they each saw fit upon their several agendas. However, in the former case, current events may be seen as a planned continuation of their purposes from time immemorial.
The preponderance of testimony is that contemporary visitors are an extension of the early missions to earth, and thus, their actions, and perhaps motivations, are relatively easy to assess. Determining the motivation of visitors who are relative new comers may be more complicated, or we may find them to be antithetical to the regime of the previous groups. In fact, Billy Meier's visitors indicated that, indeed, some visitors are now resisting other visitors and that this relationship is actually quite precarious [6]. In any event we may construe continuity between ancient and contemporary visitations and that therefore some cohesion of mission parameters most probably exists, even if some added agency is now involved which complicates the original intention.
By implication, this means that the overall course and direction of human history and its development has been and is being monitored, if not controlled, by our visitors. The litany of tragedy is not some accidental series of unfortunate events, but is a well orchestrated and choreographed performance here on earth. In light of what has happened over the course of human history, perhaps the motives of the visitors can be discerned from a review of the topology of our past.
Modern Man - Homo Technicus
First consider our unique human position on the earth. We do not fit neatly into any organic ecological system, nor do we act within the natural biological balance. We seem to be the only animal that has evolved so far beyond the ability of the environment to withstand that we threaten the entire planet. We seem to be bent on erasing this natural environment and covering the planet's surface with structures or wastelands.
We are highly technological and depend on this technology to sustain us in a naturally hostile environment. We have the technology to destroy our world. Most of the technological advances we have made are related to our ability and propensity for war, or are the result of our innate belligerence. It is this technological bias that has driven us to evolve into the species we are today. We serve as our own natural selection mechanism.
Second, civilizations mysteriously appeared at the onset of recorded history. We continued to build and maintain elaborate civilizations based on hierarchies that have been relatively consistent throughout our history. We, as do many mammals, waive our right to be self-directing, in favor of giving power to some king or leader, following this person or group wherever they choose to take us. These individuals, groups and movements divide us along cultural, national and religious boundaries.
Symbolism and written language seem to have been attendant at the birth of civilization. Our ability to think abstractly gives us our inexplicable predisposition toward faith. This feature underlies and enables all our civilizations and financial systems. It is even quite possible that this is a genetic feature of humanity [7].
Third, we have established faith based monetary and financial systems that depend solely on our ability to conceptualize and use symbolism to place value on abstract concepts or inanimate objects. We believe that there will always be the rich and the poor, those that have and those that have not. There will always be those who seek to gather everything they can, and those who seek to gather anything they can. Our civilizations depend on those that have little forever being servant to those who have more.
We humans are clearly a non sequitur species on this planet. The condition we find ourselves in is not one that follows the natural evolutionary processes [8].
Keeping Secrets
When considering the keepers of the secrets of extraterrestrial involvement on earth, it is easy to be caught in the bow wave of anger directed against the United States and its military industrial complex. It should however be noted that there is at least one other significant party to the deception and obfuscation: the EBEs themselves.
It is relatively easy to understand why governments wish to keep this truth embargo in place. With it, the powers that be, as they are known in some circles, retain their grasp. Or on the other hand, those in control may feel that they are actually preserving our way of life, or our lives in general from the horrors of the actual ET agenda.
Whichever may be the case, it is clear that the ETs are cooperating more with the political diplomats maintaining the embargo than with the exopolitical diplomats working for a full disclosure. And since that estimate is based on empirical evidence, one must wonder why the visitors support the continued establishment controlled cover-up.
Assuming that the ETs are technologically powerful, and able to not only monitor but also edit or create media information on our planet, one might wonder why they have not broken the embargo and sent the world a message. The actions of the visitors are anything but invisible.
Communications with individuals abound in the literature. There seems to be no limit to the information which is passed to individuals on what seems to be a random basis. With some exceptions, there is a great deal of similarity in the testimonies of these people who claim to have had contact with EBEs. After the poking and prodding sessions conclude, there is an overwhelming level of concern for the environment of the planet and the condition of the spiritual awareness of the individual conveyed by the visitors. Both these topics are undoubtedly of fundamental priority and inestimably important, but there seems to be some disconnect between this message and the fact that these witnesses are usually kidnapped and exposed to traumatic levels of personal violation at the time of the briefings. Further testimony by others, including Werner Von Braun, indicate that the EBEs had some significant contact with the Nazis, or had at least some technology transfer at the time, whether intentional or 'accidental'. Could there be some contradiction here, or is our concept of 'spiritual condition' at odds with the EBE's version?
Alleged UN and governmental meetings - between Eisenhower and others, particularly in association with the MJ12 participants - are particularly significant. Such high level meetings, conducted in secret, not publicized at the time and classified above top secret, which effect every person on the planet, seem to have been handled improperly in so far as the EBE anxiety for the general population's spiritual awareness is concerned. In dealing with the leadership of earth, EBEs seem to be missing a fundamental point - humans want to be in charge of earth. How could EBEs make such an obvious mistake in opening up to the powers that be? Did they think for an instant that those in control would find this reality comforting and pass it on to the people of earth?
In fact, there is a continuity here that is perhaps unnoticed at times. For the entire history of modern human civilization, there has always been the sacred and the profane, the open and the secret things, that have been part of religions on earth for many millennia. Priests and prophets on the knowing side, and the people on the other. Secret societies and fraternal orders.
Knowledge is power and keeping the power is of prime importance. So perhaps the 'spiritual awareness' inculcated by the EBEs is a continuation of the awareness of the few practiced on earth since the beginning, and forms a basis for elite dominion in general.
While the EBEs may be closed mouthed about things, it is impossible to hide their actions, both in the past and today. There have been many overt and overwhelmingly noteworthy sightings of UFOs over the years. In July of 1952 a small group of vehicles swarmed the nation's capital in Washington [9]. In recent times, the Phoenix Lights, Chicago O'Hare Airport and the Stephenville Texas sightings garnered worldwide attention. None of these supposed sightings ended in any significant revelation, but only inspired more secrecy and confusion. There has been no "Take Me To Your Leader" event, simply because that meeting has already occurred. Our governments and those in power have no question as to the message of the EBEs.
Messages to the common human through the media infrastructure are present, if confused. These messages hint at the agenda, or agendas, of our visitors. Again an environmental and spiritual emphasis is found in those communications. Claims have been made that EBEs have seeded the thoughts of mankind for years through the entertainment mediums. Many have subscribe to the notion [10] that through fiction and entertainment, the masses can be exposed to otherwise frightening concepts and through gradual release can be made ready to accept the bigger messages which must come only when the civilization is ready to accept it without a high level of fear and denial. While our visitors claim using this method of indoctrination, our government [11] calls it "camouflage through limited disclosure".
Crop circles are taken as communication from the EBEs and, it is believed, offer some kind of message, if these cereoglyphs have meaning. A recent Barbury Castle [12], England circle actually described Pi to the tenth decimal place, but this is a message we have already received some time ago. In general, crop circles have been awarded the dubious distinction of being a form of communication which can be fabricated by both human and non-human entities.
In light of the controlling nature of the current political environment, perhaps communication is restricted from the EBEs due to our own propensity for fabrication and duplicity. False flag operations are a staple in the geopolitical landscape and have been for many generations.
Modern operations in major world cities dwarf previous ploys in their depth of depravity, justifying these deeds by the noble and needful end results achieved. In fascist and militaristic cultures, and in 'free' societies, these activities are essential for large-scale paradigm adjustment. Obfuscation and camouflage are classic counterintelligence operations.
Apparently both our governments, the human and the ET's, seem to feel that secrecy and obfuscation are essential to this relationship. Philip Corso indicated that the first response by Truman's Working Group on the events surrounding ET presence was to build a government within a government [13]. It was felt that the only way to keep the information secret regarding the Roswell event and the subsequent work of the defense department on reverse engineering the technology found there was to keep it secret even from ourselves. Over time, the original working group fell apart due to "a power struggle", according to Corso, and the compartmentalized groups doing the work on particular projects operated "as if some super intelligence group was still in command." [14] The individual agencies were operating "on blind faith that they were being managed by higher-ups." But if indeed the working group ceased to function as the managing agency of the information flow and the enforcer of the continuing cover-up, how did this condition continue without program guidance? The answer was in the creation of a government within a government: a coterie of individuals who were not answerable to any president or elected government agency. It was in essence, the Invisible Government, and our then elected president and his officers knowingly created it.
Essentially, hands we do not see govern us.
Determining Motive at the Scene of a Crime
Television has given most people an insight into the operations of crime scene investigators and how they solve crimes, based on forensic evidence. For example, a body is found on the street, shot. Perhaps the signs of a brief and futile struggle are evident. Looking for identification on the body proves to be futile, since no wallet or purse is found near the area. Searching the area, looking in trashcans nearby, a wallet is found, devoid of money and credit cards, but containing the driver's license of Mr. John Doe, and the photo appears to match the features of the victim. In all probability, the deceased is Mr. Doe and he was most probably mugged, killed for money. The motive, discerned by the evidence at the scene of the crime, appears to have been money. Looking at AI (Alien Intervention) as if it were a crime, an investigator might arrive at some idea of a possible motive for the action. With a long history of association, it is determined that the victims (us) are quite familiar with the perpetrators (aliens). There are traces of this relationship in every culture on earth, from the oldest recorded histories of every race, or ethnic clade.
It appears that the suspects had a central hand in the origination of most civilizations, at least, and perhaps are even responsible for the perverted evolution of the entire species. This seems to be similar in scope to many child kidnappings, where the aggrieved parent has no qualms in kidnapping the child from the awful 'other parent' or custodian.
There is also an offer of some kind made to the victims, and this offer is usually either some kind of technology which appears to give advantage to the victim, or some kind of spiritual enlightenment, offered specially to the victims, upon their acceptance of a continued relationship in both cases. The crime begins to take on the aura of a confidence scam, or a bait and switch, Three-Card-Monty scam. As is normal for these confidence scams, obfuscation and diversion is key in keeping the deceit going to its fruition.
There are a host of bodies, and missing persons associated with the crimes. In fact, whole civilizations seem to have vanished from the face of the earth. There are stories of global annihilations that pervade all the literature of the ancients. This confidence scam with a kidnapping has turned into a homicide.
As details emerge, the investigation turns up accomplices. A conspiracy is revealed that is classic in most high crimes. But as in most high crimes, not all the perpetrators can keep secrets. Our shadow government seems to have been accessory to the crimes of the aliens, at least for the last three generations. Under interrogation, the story emerges only with great difficulty, and it seems to change from one session to the next.
The perpetrator is armed and dangerous. Government insiders, members of the military in high places, feel that the visitors are hostile and have taken actions to counter the assault they feel is imminent upon humanity. What remains of our visible government is valiantly trying to protect us, as they promised they would.
The perpetrators have actually taken over territory in our area and appear to be sustaining a long-term occupation. Under the sea and the land and on nearby bodies in space, evidence of their presence is monitored. Billions, if not trillions, have been spent on our security from this hostile visitor.
Most aggravating of all is the perpetrator's ability to flee and evade capture at will. Only isolated conspirators are captured, their dark associates in the cabal taking custody of them. Most of those captured suffer, as did Lee Harvey Oswald.
It seems in fact that the perpetrators themselves are influencing the entire investigation. Investigators and agents operate under an unknown authority that seems bent on keeping the crime from the general public, attempting to demean details and witnesses. And since the criminals are in charge of the investigation, there will be no further investigation - case closed.
We have difficulty in establishing motives for known high crimes and misdemeanors. We see these convoluted and serpentine crimes in the news and have wondered about them since the assignation of JFK. How could our own government do such things? What fox is watching this henhouse, anyway? Exacerbated, we attribute their motives to control, power.
If the EBEs are indeed our progenitors, could we not assume some familiar relationship in motive on their part as well? Could there be some similarity in our mutual behavior, some inherited propensity? Are we not acting exactly as designed?
Summary
The Paradigm Research Group is organizing a Million Fax on Washington which is designed to put pressure on the president elect to make substantive efforts for disclosing all the pertinent information the government has on the subject of ETI. On the day following the determination of the next president of the US, the goal is to have one million faxes and letters delivered in mass to the person appointed. Just how effective this might be remains to be seen, but the probability is that the person, whoever it may be, will be as unable to open the floodgates of disclosure as anyone else has been in the last three generations. The keepers of the information will allow it when they are ready.
Looking at the history of alien intervention on this planet, and taking many stories and angles on the data into account, it is easy to see that a powerful and persistent hand has been manipulating the situation for a very long time. While it is true that humans have assisted this covert operation, we are but short-lived humans, and the operation continues to this day. The only party that remains consistent, in the effort to keep secret the intervention in human affairs, is the alien interlopers themselves.
With their technological advantage and the proliferation of communication mediums on this planet, our alien friends could easily announce their presence to us and never expose themselves to the hostility that currently pervades our government's relationship with them. With their undeniable tactical advantage, they could land in mass at the UN and reveal themselves to all the nations of the earth, keeping the armed forces at bay with the fully licensed versions of the hardware we use against them today.
By appearing in some peaceful manner, by not returning evil for evil, by a non-destructive resistance to our sure to be violent reaction to their appearance, the alien delegation would prove their peaceful intent, their altruistic mission, to the general public.
Claiming some kind of non-interference ethic is a red herring, since interference is a given condition on this planet. Visual sightings, abductions, implants, missing persons, crop circles and cattle mutilations - the list is almost endless. There is no reason to wear the mask any longer, unless of course taking off the mask would reveal more than we would care to know.
Participate with the Million Fax on Washington - hope for the best. But nothing prohibits the Interlopers from acknowledging their persistent presence on earth today, regardless of the results of the presidential appointment to come.

Over the periods of 2 years, I had the privilege to share precious moments with the CSETI team and close to 120 participants from all walks of life. I met NASA scientist, Pilots, house wives, astronomers, computer experts, engineers and many more professionals during the week long trainings. And they were just like me, completely in awe at what was unfolding around us.

From what we have been told, and the way media and movies depict the extraterrestrials, you would think that if things goes as planned, we would see a giant spaceship, just like the one we see on TV, coming above the group. Well, things just don't happen like that, but in various other wonderful ways. Again, you have to think outside the box and realize that there is more to reality then our own little 3 dimensional world.

Extraterrestrial physical manifestations

Now, what I would like to describe first is the way they show themselves and how they interact with the group. I'll be mixing all the experiences together, including the work I have done around Ottawa with colleagues, the CSETI Trainings in Mt. Shasta and near Montreal. The manifestation will be presented as they come to mind, in no particular order. I'll try to add graphics to each description.

The very first day in Mt. Shasta, in the fall 2006, we had whitish-greenish lights answering to our signaling. This lasted about 3-4 minutes. We could see the shape of that light-object with binoculars. There is no way someone would have been able to stand on the side of the mountain to do that. The side been too steep for that feat. A similar object also flew above the mountain, following the contours the previous year, according to Harold Berndt.

In Mt. Shasta, during a break, I was discussing Stanley Meyers technology with Steven Greer and Harold Berndt, when a red ball popped in view, facing me. I quickly pointed to it, but Steven already had his head turned to see the manifestation. The orb appeared between 2 tall trees at about 40 feet altitude and started descending. It was about the size of my thumb at arm's length. Mid course, it split it 2 identical balls vertically and moved apart slightly. They both disappeared behind the bushes. I looked at Steven and Harold in awe. Never seen something like this.

In fall 2007, Mt. Shasta, we had many uncharted objects flying above us and one way we can see if they are of extraterrestrial nature, we can verbally or mentally gently ask for a direction change. Well, that is one thing I usually do each time I see an object in the sky, anywhere I am.To my great surprise, the first object turned 20-30 degrees... At that point, I was making audible request and my friend could hear them too. We were both astonished to see the object change course. This happened 3 times during the evening. Twice on my request and once on a request from another participants.

Ursa major, or commonly called the Big Dipper is a very easy constellation to spot. I was facing it that night when a notice a blink, about the size of a big start. I notified the group, with elevation and orientation. It then blinked again a bit north of it's previous blink location and the entire group noticed it. Then for a longer period it was quiet before blinking at us one last time.
In 2007, I had brought an MP3 player and portable speakers. I was playing the beeping tones while everyone was setting up for the night. Just as Steven and his colleagues were sitting down, I saw a basketball size silver orb pop just beside the moon. I thought It was a quick reaction to our beeping tones, which they usually do each time. I notified the group and the same orb was also seen later during the night by other people.

Now to end this series of manifestations, I will describe what could be the most bizarre and life changing experience I had in my life.One night where we were standing and enjoying the star filled sky, the energy was high, we felt good. The weather was cool, but we felt great. We had our usual circular setup so everyone could watch a part of the sky. The moon was high and bright.I then noticed something shinny in front of me, but nothing solid. I dispatched it for just reflection on the ground until Steven started moving around and outlining shapes. I was puzzled, then I moved my head sideways, left and right to see if I could get more details of the shape in front of me. It was very subtle energy, but I could clearly see the top of a small humanoid head and 2 shoulders. It was see-through...semi-transparent.We where all very quiet and enjoy this most extraordinary presence. I was really astonished to see Steven come beside me and begin to outline the shape I had in front of me. Wow! I told myself, he sees what I see...He started at the top of the head with both his hands joined and went around it, then the shoulders, and going down the sides of this quiet creatures. I couldn't believe it... Such a peaceful night and such peaceful and wonderful location.To this day, this is the most difficult experience to share with anyone I talk to.There I've done it. Feels good. :)

This gives you an idea on how things turn out, and the beautiful thing about all this, you can do this at home with your friends and family. Just show honest and sincere desire to contact and amazing things will happen.

This is how things happened for me, but there have been some major ET craft demonstration in the early CSETI days. One of them was a 300 feet disk that came out of the clouds in England, during a CSETI expedition.

Anything can happen, be open and enjoy every moment of this beautiful unfolding reality.

Aliens Use Fresh Water As Fuel

The president of the Academy for Applied Ufology, Academician Vladimir Azhazha, is considered to be the founding father of the Russian ufology. He shared his knowledge of aliens with Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin, who subsequently confirmed his status as the nation’s chief scientist in ufology. The academician has recently marked his 80th birthday and is currently working on an extensive collection of books (ten volumes) devoted to UFOs.
It goes without saying that the traditional science does not treat ufology seriously. Vladimir Putin once said that he never believed in extraterrestrial beings.
"Putin is a secret service man. Mikhail Gorbachev was the first and the last national leader who acknowledged the issue of unidentified flying objects in Russia. We established the public ufological center during his rule under my supervision. Thousands of ufologists were working for me from 1990 to 1995. We collected tons of information to prove the existence of UFOs. There are other civilizations in the universe, no matter if we want it or not," the scientist said.

"US satellites took several infrared photographs of Mexico, Chile and Bolivia in 1993. The pictures showed large objects up to 450 kilometers in diameter – the flying cities. This is where they all come from.
"You probably realize that I do not feel like fantasizing at my age. My facts show that aliens use fresh water as fuel for their aircraft. They decompose water into oxygen and hydrogen. In Australia, a UFO was once spotted landing on a tank holding 38 tons of water. When it took off, there was no water found in the tank. There was a smell of ozone in the air, which made it clear that they decomposed water into oxygen and hydrogen and compressed the latter under the pressure of several hundreds of atmospheres. We won’t be able to carry a bucket of mercury, because it will weigh 130 kilograms. If we compress hydrogen, a truck won’t be able to move a spoonful of it.

President Elect Obama: Are UFOs Real?
Several weeks ago, I posted an article about the Million Fax on Washington campaign which calls for the government to disclose what it knows about UFOs and extraterrestrials. I am still working on my own letter. In the meantime, I saw this open letter to the President Elect written by Robert Stanley. It’s a very interesting letter by a man who has been involved in the issue for some time. Mr. Obama,
Your campaign was based on a simple, but profound promise — change. There is one important aspect of the current bureaucracy in Washington, D.C., that desperately needs to change — UFO secrecy.
As president elect you have most likely been briefed on the more than 240 alien incursions of the restricted/prohibited airspace over Washington, D.C., that have transpired since 1948. Pentagon intelligence officers may have also briefed you on the failed military intercepts that occurred in this same period. Some of these hostile intercepts proved fatal to our veteran, combat pilots — a tragic waste of life. However, the attempted military intercepts in 1948, 1952, 2002, etc. are what directly led to the current political stance on this subject — total silence.
Despite the fact that hundreds of people have seen and or photographed non-terrestrial, exotic aerospace craft passing over sensitive areas of Washington, D.C., we are told that officially nothing unusual is going on. This situation has got to change. However, I am certain that your transition team leaders, specifically John Podesta, will urge you not to address this issue publicly.
You see, in 2005, soon after I broke the story internationally of UFOs being photographed over the Capitol, I spoke at length with Mr. Podesta’s public relations firm in D.C. because they had issued press releases regarding their desire to end UFO secrecy. Therefore, it seemed like a good idea to contact them because I was looking for a public official to address the UFO situation in D.C. on the record. However, I was told by Podesta’s people that despite the fact that most of these alien incursions were witnessed by credible citizens of D.C. and or seen or radar scopes, and or photographed, no one holding political or public office would be willing to address the fact that UFOs have been repeatedly violating our sovereign airspace.
The reason for the official silence was actually quite simple. No one really knew what to do about it. More importantly, if an elected official were to officially admit anything publicly regarding these alien incursions… that individual (and perhaps their Federal agency) would be held personally responsible by the public to deal with the problem.
During your campaign, you stated your willingness to have a dialogue with all world leaders regardless of their political views. Are you willing to engage in an open, diplomatic dialogue with the occupants of the unidentified aerospace craft visiting Washington, D.C.? If not, why not?
As reported in my book "Close Encounters on Capitol Hill," according to NATO’s classified assessment in the 1960s, many of the occupants of these exotic space craft are in fact human. More importantly, NATO concluded that these people did not pose a direct threat to our security. If that is true, then why should we continue to deny their existence and refuse to engage them in open debate? In closing, I would like to make it crystal clear that this is an ongoing situation that will not go away simply by ignoring or denying it exists.
These exotic craft have been sighted and or photographed all over the world. But, they are also very interested in Washington, D.C. To illustrate my point, below are some of the most recent eyewitness accounts and photographs from our nation’s capital.

AddendumThe following alien incursion took place in Washington, D.C., at approximately 9:00 p.m., on September 23, 2008. According to one of the witnesses,
"My family and I were driving down Constitution Street when we first saw three unidentified lights moving very smoothly and rather slowly behind the Freedom statue that stands on top of the Capitol building’s rotunda.
When we got to Union Station, we had a better view of the Capitol and the UFOs were still in sight, but now they were going in a different direction. On our way back home, we got the best view yet of these UFOs. We could see the light on these craft were circular, but since it was night we couldn’t actually see the actual structure of the spacecraft. We went back to Capitol Hill later that night with binoculars, but we didn’t see anything. However when we were there, a security helicopter was flying around the Capitol with a search light."
Another alien incursion occurred in Washington, D.C., at 10:06 p.m., on August 17, 2008. According to the photographer/witness,
"While standing on a roof top on 13th and N streets NW, I captured a high-resolution image of a spherical UFO that left a trail of energy as it accelerated into the night sky. I was using a Nikon D700 which is the most advanced digital camera currently available on the market. My sample shows a bright, white, egg-shaped anomaly with blue and red lights that is leaving a trail of residual energy at a 45 degree angle. No noise was heard? The image I obtained is extraordinary!"
Another alien incursion occurred in Washington, D.C., at approximately 8:00 p.m., on August 13, 2008. According to one of the witnesses,
"My friends and were on a trip to D.C. That evening, we were walking west on the National Mall towards the Smithsonian Metro Station when I noticed a strange object in the sky. It appeared to be cylindrical in shape and dark, gray maybe or a dull metallic color; it was relatively well offset by the colors of the evening sky so it was plainly visible to the naked eye. It seemed to be fairly large and distant and was totally stationary for some time.
After I first noticed it I didn’t point it out until I realized that it had not moved at all for close to thirty seconds. I then pointed the UFO out to my four friends who all saw it, but we could not decide what it was. The general consensus seemed to be that it might be a kite of some sort, but to me it seemed too high in the sky and too large to be a kite. Also, the area of the sky [which is restricted/prohibited airspace] it was in did not see like a place where anyone would fly a kite of any sort. I pulled out my cell phone to take a picture of the UFO.
The clouds behind the object could be seen clearly on the screen, but the UFO did not appear in my camera despite that fact that as I mentioned before it was plainly visible to the naked eye, a fact that I pointed out to my friends who all saw it. If I recall correctly, I also heard someone in another group that we passed that night mention that they witnessed the UFO.
The strange object remained stationary for several minutes before moving slightly down and to the right and away from our view. The object was perhaps 30 to 40 degrees in the sky to the WNW, generally in the area of the sky between the Washington monument and the White House, but probably more distant. It particularly struck me as odd because this is not a residential area, and as far as I know restricted air space, also this is the area of the sky were aircraft approach Reagan National airport."
Another alien incursion occurred in Washington, D.C., at 8:09 p.m. on August 4, 2007. An anonymous photographer was taking pictures while standing at the Washington Monument which is the center of P51 (prohibited/restricted) airspace of the nation’s capital. The photographer did not see the triangular UFO while taking the picture. President Elect Obama appears to have very little interest in UFOs or outer space. During a news flap over statements made by Shirley MacLaine last year about a UFO sighting that former Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich had, a number of other Democratic Candidates were asked how they felt about UFOs. Barack Obama told the late Tim Russert of NBC News that he was more concerned about improving the quality of people’s lives here on Earth, than space aliens.
Obviously preferring to focus his attention on solving the terrestrial economic problems of U.S. Citizens, Barack Obama has also sent strong signals to NASA that he has little interest in spending billions of tax dollars on space exploration. He stood with Florida Senator and former Astronaut Bill Nelson at the Kennedy Space Center this past summer to declare that although he would support continued “basic research and development” at NASA over the long term, he would need to find ways to pay for it that would not take money away from programs that help people here on Earth in the short term.
Obama and many other democrats believe that promises made by President Bush regarding future NASA programs involving the Moon and Mars have always been strong on rhetoric and short on funding. Unlike the funded mandate outlined in his famous “We shall go to the Moon…” speech that the late President John F. Kennedy delivered to NASA’s doorstep, the most that Bush and the various incarnations of the U.S. Congress that have existed during his Administration have done is sent the space agency a few dollars to develop vehicles needed to get to those places.
Apart from the fact that big money for space programs has been a hard sell even during the best of economic times in recent years, it’s doubtful that President Elect Obama will be motivated to do much more than just keep the lights on at NASA and allow current plans for the International Space Station to go forward as long as they don’t require too much funding. The real question is what will happen after he is sworn in as the forty-forth President of the United States.
I don’t imagine that there were too many Champaign corks popping at the Pentagon after Obama won the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election. President Elect Obama is known to prefer diplomacy to military solutions. Whether he will go as far as former President Jimmy Carter did by trying to dismantle the CIA and cut military spending by billions when he got into office remains to be seen. What does seem to be certain is that not all U.S. Presidents receive the real E.T. briefing. Carter tried to get it from former CIA Director George H. Bush before he replaced Bush with a new director, but was turned down.
Times have changed and it’s entirely possible that Obama will receive a briefing about UFOs and Aliens whether anyone in the military or intelligence gathering community wants him to have it or not. Given the number of UFOs seen worldwide over the past few years and the obvious military responses in the form of jet and helicopter chases, Obama may have to simply join a show already in progress. If that happens, look for the tell-tale changes in Obama’s attitude towards UFOs, Aliens or Space Programs. A sudden and unexpected dependency on the military, a lack of interest in cutting their budget and overall adjustment of his political views may be one sign, but probably not the biggest.
I would expect a world-minded politician like Barack Obama to support UFO disclosure given the diplomatic and international relations possibilities such a move would offer our nation. Especially if he was convinced that extraterrestrials were really visiting our planet and impacting worldwide economies and technologies. Knowing that he could not affect change overnight, Obama might consider supporting disclosure with the hope that he could force the ultimate unveiling of alternative energy sources and new energy efficient technologies that have may have been developed as a result of captured or bartered UFO technology.
Several staff members working for movers and shakers in the Democratic Party have already claimed that some sort of ‘summit’ took place shortly after the Dennis Kucinich UFO affair last year to discuss how the Party faithful would react to UFO incidents in the future. However, most of these Party players probably do not have the clout needed to find out what’s really happening with ET’s and our government. Their responses would merely offer preplanned, politically correct lip service to the subject and Obama doesn’t seem to be interested in that.
As President, Barack Obama’s disinterest in UFOs may serve him better than Bill Clinton’s interest in the subject. Bill and Hilary went out of their way to dig up information about extraterrestrials and the government during their time in the White House. The result was lackluster at best. Military members sent them serve serving reports and briefing statements indicating that there was nothing to the Roswell UFO incident and political cronies were stonewalled at every turn as their tried to unravel the UFO mystery from inside the Oval Office.
I think it’s possible that some UFO insiders in the government may look at President Elect Obama as a sort of ‘clean slate’ type of politician given his statements about change. At best, they will trust him with the UFO secret and look for him to promote disclosure and provide positive leadership in that direction. At worst, they’ll tell him their own version of the E.T. story and use his ability to sway public opinion to maintain control over all things extraterrestrial.

UFO's and Extraterrestrials: Part I

Researching the material for my book Terror from the Heavens, I found ample evidence that approximately 5800 years ago this planet was invaded by regressive aliens who called themselves the gods. The evidence also shows that they vanished about 3500 years ago. The case is argued in this book.
For the purpose of this web site general considerations will be presented because reports of encounters with extraterrestrials all over the world indicate that there are several alien parties visiting this planet. If one is to seriously believe in the possibility of extraterrestrials visiting this planet then it has to be established whether this is possible at all and if so how it is done.
As great as the advances of human engineering are, our present technology would not be able to provide the means for conquering not only space but an entire planet with enough manpower to uphold the occupation. Clearly, the alien invaders of ancient times were not only technologically far ahead of human achievements. To master space travel one needs to be able to cope with formidable technological challenges.
Let’s address them one by one.
Propulsion systems based on fuel consumption are totally inadequate for space travel even over cosmically small distances. Space travel at any reasonable scale is only possible with an energy source that is inexhaustible. Such energy source can only be a form of energy, which is present throughout the universe like electromagnetism or the quantum vacuum.
Reports of so-called UFOs wonder about the erratic course they follow. – In ancient times important spiritual buildings like temples and sanctuaries were erected at carefully chosen sites. In the Aegean Sea and in Greece there are a many such structures. When connecting them it becomes apparent that there is a grid like pattern to their locations.
In England a phenomenon called the "ley" lines is known. These are lines of a kind of energy human science has not dealt with so far. At the crossing points of these ley lines there frequently are religious structures of present and earlier times, which is an indication that this energy was known not only in the Mediterranean cultures but also in England.
There are numerous reports that tell of UFOs travelling along these lines in an erratic course. Considering that ley lines are a form of energy emanating from the ground one has to conclude that the erratic course of the ley lines can be linked to deposits of metals in the Earth’s crust which cause irregularities in the course of these lines.
It is obvious that UFOs are using the energy emanating from these energy lines for their propulsion system. One has to assume that such energy sources are available between planets and at a much greater scale between star systems. This type of energy meets the requirement of being universally available and inexhaustible.
Reports of UFOs also tell of tight, even right angle turns at very high speeds. Acceleration, deceleration and gravity can be equated. How come the crew of a UFO making such abrupt changes of direction in high-speed flight is not crushed?
The solution to this problem can only be a mechanism, which shields off the forces of gravity. What kind of mechanism can do that I do not know. But I do know that maintaining one’s dimension is a foremost necessity in space travel. - This requires an explanation. A material dimension is determined by the speed a body travels through space and there is no difference whether it is spacecraft or a planet. There is something called the energy constant of the Universe. This constant is the energy available for motion and oscillation between the states of energy and matter. The more energy is used for motion meaning the faster a body travels through space the less frequent are the oscillations between the stages of energy and matter; a body gets longer and slower times passes. -- Einstein's Theory of Relativity confirms this.
On the reverse side, the more slowly a body moves, the more frequent are the oscillations between the stages of energy and matter; a body get shorter and time passes faster. The fact that there are no invasions by extraterrestrials in historic times indicates that biological life forms cannot live in a material dimension other than their own. Changes in the frequency of the oscillation, which means a different dimension, cannot be tolerated. Changes of dimensions are a complex and difficult topic. It cannot be explained in the context of this article but you can find detailed information in my book "God's Ultimate Task".
This was obviously the problem of the gods who landed here 5,800 years ago. The dimension of this planet was not quite right for them. Therefore, they established themselves primarily on the highest mountains. This is why these mountain regions to this day are called the seats of the gods. These mountains were declared sacred and to this day mankind remembers them as such. The areas on top of the highest mountains are called a death zone for humans. It is not the altitude that makes humans sick in these altitudes; it is the difference in the oscillation of matter at sea level and in high attitudes no matter how slight.
Another problem was the excessive drain on the spiritual energies of the gods caused by a material dimension that was not quite right for them. The gods compensated for this by implementing ritual human sacrifices designed to provide them with spiritual energies used to the material dimension of this planet; the gods' energy metabolisms absorbed the energies released by the suffering and pain of their victims. Even after the gods had vanished this practice of human sacrifice in favour of the gods continued well into the recent past.

Apart from the circles, there are some in the shape of keys, weird insects, claws and even the stars. In Australia people began to notice them in the 1960s and that too in the swamps near Tully in Queensland.An image resembling a crop circle is reported to have appeared in a 17th century English wood cut. It had been called the Mowing Devil. In ufology(study of UFOs) literature, plenty of reports of crop circles are given.However the crop circle phenomena was reported initially in the early 1970s in modern times. Since then more than 12,000 reports have been filed in from all over the world. These circles are totally at odds with modern science. More than 90 per cent of the reported crop circles are from England.Until 1990 not much attention was paid to these crop circles being made by people as a hoax (an act intended to make somebody believe something that’s not true). Scientists and researchers have identified about 30 per cent of these crop circles as hoax. However, as some of the mysterious designs have appeared in some brittle plants that would snap if human hands or a machine tried to flatten them, explanations are yet to be found as to how they were flattened without any signs of damage. Some of the crops also show signs of them being subjected to severe heat in these crop circles.Do humans make crop circles?Yes... There are many reports of man-made crop circles often appearing in remote places mostly done as a hoax. Some are done as a form of crop-art. In 1978 a man named Doug Bower and his friends started a craze in England - to make crop circles. Having heard of stories spread by the people in Australia about crop circles made by aliens, he decided to make some in England to fool the people into believing that some alien spacecraft had landed. So he and his friends created crop circles and managed to fool the people for twelve long years. There still may be many such pranksters out there creating such crop circles with intricate designs.Do these designs mean something?Many wonder what exactly the intricate designs mean, especially if they are the work of aliens, as some believe.There are various possibilities that have been put forward and some of them are; they are landing sites for aliens, they are messages - may be a form of saying hello or even a warning or maps and signs made by them for their use - to find their way or to get in touch with other aliens.The designs on many of these circles are said to be amazing. They are not only different from one to another, but also very complex, making it hard for us to believe they could have been caused by natural forces. Some of you may have seen the patterns made in the desert sand by the wind. But the crop circles or the mysterious designs made in other areas are very different.They have specific designs that simply cannot be made by the wind alone.This is why many believe they may be the work of human hands or aliens and not just natural forces... For instance, experts in this subject were unable to explain how the strange design containing 400 circles and nearly 300 metres across in extent, was made on Milk Hill, in Wiltshire, England. It was discovered just seven years ago (in 2001). Was it the work of aliens or some pranksters? If they are done by some extra-terrestrial forces, then what do the specific designs mean? These are some of the areas the experts are researching into.Why do people attribute them to aliens?Most think that aliens are responsible because such crop circles have often appeared in UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) hot spots. But it is still hard to prove whether they are man-made or the work of some other force.In 1996 a farmer in Utah had reported that his tractor broke down and then he saw a strange shape cut into his field. He had claimed that there were no signs of anyone having walked over the field as no wheat was broken or stepped in. He had even claimed to see lights around the circle at night. So, what or who was responsible for creating such a circle in his wheat field? No one knows.There are many farmers who say that these could be the work of aliens because generally farm animals are known to become noisy and nervous when crop circles are being made nearby. Even tractors, mobiles and cameras are said to stop working during such time.

So, if aliens (if they do exist) are responsible for these strange designs, why are they doing it and what are they trying to convey?No matter what they denote or who is responsible for them, these strange designs are continuing to send scientists in circles as they struggle to find answers for their existence.We have always been aware of the amazing forces of our Planet Earth which includes radiation, electrical energy and magnetic fields. Perhaps any one of these forces or even those we have still not even discovered are responsible for these awesome designs like the strange bird formation which appeared in a field in Wiltshire England.

WE ARE WRITING THIS THE NIGHT BEFORE
I started working on this post on Monday, October 13th, the day BEFORE the latest in an ongoing chain of date-specific channeled prophecies comes and goes without incident. It’s now 4:44 am, ironically, as I publish it. For those who were really looking forward to this happening, I’m sorry to say that the news is not going to change today. There will be no mass UFO sighting.
I’ve taken some time away from Part Five of my 2012 Politics series to address this particular issue, in response to all the emails I would otherwise get asking me why nothing happened.
In the decade I’ve been online, I’ve probably never had as much of an issue on my hands as I’ve had with the October 14th emails. A typical day’s load has included five to ten October 14th emails, per day, for at least the last month now.
The last time a specific date attracted this much attention was May 15, 2003, when many Internet channelers rose to support Nancy Lieder’s initial prophecy that "Planet X" would swing past the Earth and cause a pole shift, destroying the majority of all life here in the process. Many people wrote me and were absolutely convinced this was going to happen, and got very upset that I did not support the prophecy and / or was not doing more to tell the world.
Tonight’s post is partly my celebration of the fact that once the 14th has passed, such emails will almost completely stop coming in, except for those asking me why the big event failed to materialize. If you sent me such an email, I have directed you to this link so I can give you a fuller explanation of this issue without having to repeat myself.
It has been draining to answer so many letters asking me exactly the same thing, even though I’ve now given my opinion in at least two different audio blogs as well as Part IV of my crop circle piece. I am very relieved that this situation is finally about to end, and I am sincerely sorry for all those people who will feel let down or disappointed when nothing happens.
The October 14th prophecy upset does not in any way discredit the seriousness or the validity of the UFO phenomenon. The sad fact is that the vast majority of people studying UFOs are unaware of the laws by which the ETs govern themselves — laws that make it impossible for such an event to occur at this stage in our planetary game.
These laws are written into the primordial essence of the Universe itself, and therefore cannot be contravened. As you awaken to your true identity as the One Infinite Creator, you discover that free will is the most important principle that governs our Universe. It is a principle that the entire Universe is set up to insure will not be violated beyond the level to which it is invited.
IT WOULD BE A TRAGEDY
Such a mass visitation, at this stage in our planetary game, would be an absolute tragedy — an irreversibly vast insult to the free will of the overwhelming majority of people on Earth who would see it as a horrific and terrifying event, based on their Hollywood movie conditioning. It would also be a disaster for the person who brought the prophecy through, on several different levels, with many unintended consequences.
One major problem is that if the purported UFO appeared and revealed itself in some way as a positive influence, and was welcomed by even a small percentage of humanity, then the "Federation of Light" responsible for this visitation would have effectively anointed the Earth with a new Messiah.
The person who generated this prophecy would be instantly elevated to Godlike status, ushering in the most important and influential spiritual event on Earth since the Hegira of Mohammed at the "Wailing Wall", or even the Ascension of Jesus in Jerusalem.
However, in either of these cases humanity did not see a wide-scale manifestation of the spiritual forces behind these great teachers — only paranormal events associated with the individuals themselves.
THE GREAT PYRAMID
Allegedly the most significant historical incident of such a massive human-ET contact, leading to a physical manifestation, was 11,000 years ago. According to the Law of One series, at this time the ET group known as Ra built the Great Pyramid in Egypt.
The Edgar Cayce Readings covered this event as well — and these readings clearly established that channeling is real, and in the ideal circumstances it can be replicated over and over again. There are over 14,000 documented Cayce Readings, demonstrating an above-90-percent accuracy rating, including many shocking examples of prophecy proving that Cayce’s source was able to peer through time and see the truth.
The Cayce Readings said Edgar’s most important past life was as the "priest" Ra-Ta, who allegedly led survivors from the sinking continent of Atlantis into Egypt, and ultimately helped construct the Great Pyramid.
Although the archeological evidence for such an advanced ancient civilization is now irrefutable on many, many different levels, and Cayce’s prophecies continue to gain credibility as books, documentaries and films are made about him, most people would still laugh out loud at the idea of "Atlantis" being real. This is simply due to a lack of information, and / or the lack of a sufficiently open mind.
They would be even less receptive to the idea of a channel such as Edgar Cayce assigning himself a pivotal spiritual role in the immediate aftermath of this great cataclysm, as this appears to be very self-serving.

THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES OF OCTOBER 14TH
I watched “Blossom Goodchild” in her video describing her prophecy and have no doubt that she is a wonderful lady with a great personality and a lot to offer. I can also say that 10 years of ever-increasing publicity as a spiritual teacher shows me that she obviously hasn’t thought through what would actually happen to her if this prophecy came true.
As one example, she would be in extreme risk of assassination from millions of religious fundamentalists who would see this ship as a manifestation of Satan, and therefore see her as the long-awaited Antichrist. However, it would be the “believers” that would bother her even more. She couldn’t appear in public without literally being torn apart by people grabbing at her clothes as she tries to press through.
Ra-Ta was elevated to the status of a god among his people. Although he was only the liaison for Ra, people came to see him as the embodiment of Ra in human form. The Illuminati tradition is still affected by this historic misunderstanding, since they adopted much of the distorted Egyptian mystery-school teachings.
This unique status led to great conspiracies plotted against Ra-Ta, according to the Cayce Readings. Long before we’d ever heard of the Clinton scandal, the Cayce Readings described how Ra-Ta was set up to sleep with another woman, the gorgeous temple dancer Isris, by his opponents. Once he went through with it, they attacked him, Swift Boat style, for going against his own spiritual principles.
These long-lost cousins of the Republican Party were able to get Ra-Ta banished from Egypt. He eventually returned, and was invited back to his former position because ignorance and lawlessness had returned to the people.
Ra-Ta increasingly traveled ‘abroad’ — not just on Earth — and when he came back from these trips he found that his temples had been turned into ‘sexual playgrounds’. He himself eventually succumbed to the forces of ego, pride and vanity, and enjoyed a variety of different female partners.
According to both the Cayce Readings and the Law of One series, this indiscretion caused Ra-Ta to become karmically entrapped on Earth and stay here until the end of the cycle. Further mistakes caused him to endure a series of lifetimes “without the distortions towards power”.
So, being the head of the “ground crew” in the midst of a major UFO contact with humanity is not all it’s cracked up to be. You can easily accrue karma, get stuck for 11,000 years, and end up inadvertently fathering a nasty cult like the Illuminati. Been there, done that.
So let’s be glad the ETs are smart enough not to show up on call like this and further disrupt our free will, and the stability of future timelines.
My own work to expose the Illuminati is part of the atonement I do for having this vibrational similarity to the key historical figure that inadvertently created the problem in the first place. By revealing myself as the anonymous author of The Changing of the Guard, I now feel I’ve done my part.

Earth's Citizens Demand Disclosure

To the future President of the United States of America: Sir, you'd better stock up on supplies and strap on your boots: a storm cometh your way.
On November 5th, 2008 and for a period lasting seventy-seven days, Washington D.C. will become Ground Zero in what is slated to become the largest civilian driven mailing blitz in recent history. The payload: over one million letters, faxes, and e-mails from people around the globe - all demanding that the newly elected U.S. President take forceful and decisive action in ending the UFO/Extraterrestrial truth embargo.
Though massive in both breadth and scope, the effort is not entirely without precedent: in 1977, over 10,000 letters made their way to the White House - the catalyst being Jimmy Carter's campaign promise to the general public that if elected, steps would be taken to make the military-industrial complex come clean on the reality and presence of UFOs/ETs within Earth's atmosphere. Such effort on the part of U.S. citizens created such a commotion on the nation's capital that it prompted the administration to sign off on two Extraterrestrial studies. Unfortunately, these were scuttled without much protest by various agencies and the Department of Defense.
Thirty-one years later, Paradigm Research Group founder and Executive Director Stephen Bassett is convinced that a repeated and more concentrated endeavor involving all peoples everywhere will have a far greater impact and end result within the nation's infrastructures of power - especially with today's ultrasensitive political environment. According to him, official Disclosure is not only close at hand - it is imminent. And though several elected representatives strongly desire to play a part in the process, they are hindered by the fact that they essentially feel alone in the front lines. They reason that only a strong and uninterrupted supply line of public interest and support will help see them through. With elections just over a month away, Bassett says that 'timing is crucial'.

1) Visit the official http://www.faxonwashington.org/ website to acquire the information you need to make this happen. Place it into your list of bookmarks and refer to it often. Get your letter, fax, or e-mail written up in October and ready to send on Nov. 5th to the President Elect.
2) Typed letters with standard sized envelopes are best. Why? Because unlike E-Mails and faxes, written letters always get opened and read. Letters also place a physical, tangible product within the recipient's hand, one they can store in a pocket and show to others. In this high stakes game, these two elements alone are winning factors.
3) Do not send any correspondence to the White House. Instead, your targets are the Senatorial Office and the transition office for the President Elect (see mailing addresses below).
4) Be conspicuous and in the open. Date and sign your letter if possible, along with providing your physical address. Anonymous correspondence is rarely given credibility or treated with respect.
5) Be concise and brief. The best way to lose someone's attention when reading a letter is to force them to read a second page. In fact, half a page of clear and well-written information makes for a much more hard-hitting package.
6) Make a copy of your letter/correspondence and forward this to Paradigm Research Group. This will provide Mr. Bassett with additional leverage and material for his many upcoming media appearances on this endeavor. At present, two-dozen such interviews/appearances are scheduled, with another eighty or so more foreseen to come down the Pike. If the masses do this right and a tsunami of printed material arrives on Mr. Bassett's doorstep, he will have all that is required to make a concise and powerful case to the mainstream media.

Sasquatch Sightings Continue Throughout Northwest British Columbia, Canada

Bigfoot appears to be on the move through the wilds of Northern B.C.
A rash of three sightings between late July and August have brought about speculation from paranormal specialists as to what the creature might be up to.
In addition to Houston sightings, Larry Sommerfield, a self-proclaimed sasquatch hunter from Terrace has a cast in his possession that he says is a sasquatch print.
Though he wouldn’t tell The Terrace Standard how he came into possession of the cast, it is 16 inches long, 10.5 inches wide and has four toes.
“I don’t know why there is so much activity but I have a researcher friend in Saskatchewan, who thinks it may have something to do with increased bear sightings” Brian Vike, director of Houston British Columbia Canada (HBCC) UFO Research said. “There seems to be a lot more bear sightings nearing hibernation and as the animals move down from the mountains, maybe something else large and hairy is moving too.”
A second hand report received by Vike, about a sighting in the Morgan subdivision, indicates that another Houston resident saw the enigmatic creature in late July, around the same time as Delores Harrie.
“I haven’t been able to connect with the other lady yet, but she is a very credible witness,” Vike said.
Harrie reported a Sasquatch sighting at her home on Buck Flats Road on July 28 to Vike. She made the report 29 days after the sighting simply because she didn’t not know who she should tell.
“It was my neighbour who said Brian was the person to talk to,” Harrie said.
Since her incident, one of the woman’s friends reported a sighting on Telkwa High Road in Moricetown on Aug. 27 and over the summer there have been sightings in Campbell River on Aug. 31.
At the time of the sighting, Harrie heard something crashing outside near her house and her dogs were anxious to get outside.
“I am becoming much more aware of being out here,” Harrie said, adding her home is surrounded by trees and bluffs. “I mean it could have been a moose or something, but you never know.”
At 5:45 a.m. that morning of July 28, Harrie heard her dogs barking at the door. When she went down to investigate she saw that someone or something was rattling the door handle.
She eventually opened the door and the dogs were out like a shot, sniffing out something on he east side of her property.
When she looked out at the side of her house, she saw a creature that was walking on two legs.
“It was huge and it had long hair, not fur — kind of like the kind you see on an ox and a reddish brown, the colour of the trees that are killed by the pine beetle,” said the woman. “And it moved so fast, by the time I opened my door it had run from the porch to the other side of the house.”
Once outside, the dogs pursued the creature it continued along a dried-up ravine and disappeared into a forested area. Her oldest dog didn’t return for three hours.
“I was worried but what do you do, tell people your dog is chasing bigfoot?” she asked. “I drove up and down the road, looking for him and eventually he came back.”
When she went out later that day, she found the area had markings where something very heavy had laid down the grass along the path.
“She was very obviously upset and there was a sighting on Buck Flats near Silverthorne Lake three years ago,” said Vike. “And another one in a different area near the lake.”
When Vike investigated the property, he stood in the same area on the east side of the house where the women had seen the creature in attempt to gauge it’s height.
“I am just over six feet and when I stood there she said she could only see the top of my head,” said Vike. “Whatever the heck she saw that morning, she was able to see from the head to the chest, making it at least seven or eight feet.”
Brian also found that the treed area she indicated the creature disappeared into had disturbances on the path where the grass had been laid down, as if something very heavy had slipped and possibly fallen.
“The creek there is dried up but the ground is still very swampy so I figured I would be able to find some impressions,” said Vike. “I also found what could have been a track with maybe a couple of toes visible but I just can’t be sure.”
Vike didn’t find any other evidence such as hair but he did say that there have been other sighting this summer.
Harrie doesn’t know why the creature would choose to go onto her property, but the experience has left her a little shaky.
“I used to only lock my door once in a while, now I lock it all the time,” she said.

Sasquatch Sighted In The Nass Valley, British Columbia

I never knew you were looking into the Sasquatch too, two years ago we (my husband, our two sons, and I) were driving home from the Nass Valley. It was approximately midnight when I seen something along a hillside. I was driving, but tried to watch this thing, when my oldest son leaned forward from the backseat and yelled "look, a Sasquatch" and than my 2nd oldest son said "holy smokes". Our car lights hit the creature when we rounded the corner and it looked right at us and than bent down (because it was on two feet) and just like, laid down and disappeared.

The project, led by Japanese astronomers, will bring together a dozen or more observatories from all over the country to study one star that researchers see as a potential home to an extraterrestrial civilization. "Everyone wonders at least once in their lifetime whether space is infinite and whether aliens really do exist," said Shinya Narusawa, chief researcher at Nishi-HarimaAstronomical Observatory in western Japan. The search for aliens and UFOs is not new to Japan. Last year, unidentified flying objects grabbed the headlines after a lawmaker submitted a question to the cabinet on whether the country had confirmed any cases of their existence. The government"s answer: no. In the scientific world, Japanese researchers have used antennas to catch radio signals from outer space and analyzed the prisms of celestial lights to see if any laser emissions from space can be found, Narusawa said. Their searches have not been too fruitful so far. The new project will involve multiple astronomers filming onestar over several nights some time next year, along with the usual light analysis and recording of radio signals. "When there are some suspicious signals, sometimes it"s hard to tell whether they are artificial ones coming from the earth, for example from machines, or whether they are coming from the stars in the natural world," Narusawa said.

Secret United Nations Meetings on Extraterrestrial Life Continue: Threats Used to Prevent Diplomatic Leaks

On October 8, 2008, I met with the original source that disclosed that a secret meeting had been held at the United Nations headquarters in New York City on February 12 to discus UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The original source, Source A, discussed the most recent developments concerning secret meetings conducted under UN auspices to discuss UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The October 8 meeting was attended by Source A, Clay and Shawn Pickering (who kindly set up the meeting) and Bob Vanderclock. I spent a total of 4.5 hours discussing the UN meetings and related issues with Source A, and others present. Source A was dressed in full US Navy uniform with identifying insignia including name and rank. He showed me his military I.D. which confirmed his name, rank and pay scale. His I.D. card was valid for a three year period and had a vertical barcode on the left hand side next to his photo.
He subsequently showed me an album filled with photos, military patches and cards that represented his various assignments and awards since first joining the US Navy in the 1960s. He explained each of the pages inside of his album to all present. The material he showed conclusively proved that he was an electronics warfare specialist with the US Navy. With all the documentation presented and his full dress Navy uniform, it was clear that he is a serving US Navy officer willing to discuss sensitive information concerning UFOs and extraterrestrial life. From his careful and precise choice of language, clarity of expression, demeanor, eye-contact and other non-verbal cues, Source A appeared very personable and sincere in the information he was disclosing.
Source A said that as far as his military superiors in the normal chain of command are concerned, they are aware of his role in leaking sensitive information. They have a tacit policy of not wanting to know what he is doing, and are not taking action to prevent him disclosing the sensitive information. It was understood that getting national media exposure would force the Navy to take disciplinary action. That is one of the main reasons why the identity of Source A has not been publicly released. He has however agreed to be physically interviewed and shown his credentials to the following researchers: Clay and Shawn Pickering, Bob Vanderclock, Robert Morningstar, Dr Bruce Maccabee, two other unnamed researchers, and most recently myself on October 8.
During the meeting, Source A disclosed that he continues to work under the direction of a US Navy admiral who is in command of the controlled leak of the meetings occurring under UN auspices. This admiral was unnamed and is not part of the official chain of military command for Source A, but is his superior in covert operations that have need-to-know security status. Thus it’s important to emphasize that Source A’s disclosures are not part of official US Navy policy, but is orchestrated by a covert operations group comprising senior Navy officials (admirals) and others.
In this article, I will discuss three aspects of what Source A revealed concerning the UN meetings at our October 8 meeting: continued meetings under UN auspices; physical threats to prevent diplomatic disclosure of the UN meetings; and role of international corporations.
Further UN Meetings After the initial meeting on February 12, 2008, disclosed by Source A (not including the February 13-14 meeting disclosed by Gilles Lorant) there have been an additional three meetings attended by Source A. Another two meetings were held without Source A after he had been reassigned. Source A was replaced by another military officer who he has yet to meet. The same US Navy admiral remained in control of the US delegation even though he didn’t attend the additional meetings. All five additional meetings involved military representatives from member UN nations that attended the February 12 meeting with important additions and changes in personnel in attendance. All but the first were held outside of the UN headquarters and involved military officials. The composition, origin and diplomatic briefing responsibility of those attending the meetings does invite referring to them as a series of ‘UN inspired meetings concerning extraterrestrial life’.
Four additional meetings were held in Upstate New York. Upstate NY was chosen in order to have a more secure environment to that available at the UN due to the sensitive nature of the material discussed. Upstate NY also provided a more conducive environment for reaching consensus on issues that proved to be contentious at the original February 12 meeting.
According to Source A, the February 12 meeting was a diplomatic fiasco. There were too many senior diplomatic officials involved and discussions quickly became politicized. The US Navy admiral in charge of Source A’s controlled leak of information on the UN meetings, along with other senior diplomatic officials at the ambassadorial rank and senior military officials attended the February 12 meeting. The admiral continues to be in charge of the US delegation to all subsequent meetings emerging from the first UN meeting.
Source A says he travelled to Europe after the February 12 meeting to find the right military people for the forthcoming meetings to be held at Upstate NY. He went to every country in Europe in order to find out who was hostile and who was ambivalent concerning disclosure of extraterrestrial life.
It was decided that no further meetings were required at the UN since key players were known, and they could be invited to Upstate NY for additional meetings. All invited to the Upstate NY meetings were military liaisons of UN member states. These involved middle ranking officers since consensus was more likely to occur without senior diplomats who had the tendency to politicize discussions. It was decided that having middle ranking military liaisons would help keep a low profile on the difficult negotiations required for a coordinated international response to extraterrestrial life. All military liaison personnel at the Upstate NY meetings would brief senior officials in their respective diplomatic corps at the UN.
Source A said that that various nations were either in favor or opposed to a coordinated international disclosure effort. Source A emphasized that the US Navy has always been pro-disclosure and due to its leading role in policy issues concerning extraterrestrial life and the UN meetings, made the US pro-disclosure. The French along with Britain was also in favor of disclosure. Britain, however, asked that the US should lead the effort. Germany, Saudi Arabia and Islamic countries more generally were hostile to disclosure. Source A said India was "impossible to deal with". Military liaison(s) from China attended all the Upstate NY meetings (though not the original February 12 meeting) and said that the US should "pay for disclosure". According to Source A this was a considerable point of contention.
The subsequent meetings at Upstate NY were chaired by different countries. Source A was the highest ranking US officer at the first three post-February 12 meetings held at Upstate NY until he was replaced for the last two which were held respectively in Upstate NY and an undisclosed location in Europe.
The second UN UFO/ET meeting (the first held at Upstate NY) was held from March 24-26 and was chaired by the military liaison from Britain. Source A revealed that this was very productive in terms of consensus, goals and vision. A table of contents concerning key issues to be discussed was produced which presumably would help guide future discussions. This meeting lasted the full three days that were scheduled. China was present at the 2nd and subsequent meetings at Upstate NY and Europe.
The third UN UFO/ET meeting (second at Upstate NY) was chaired by the senior military liaison from France. According to Source A, this meeting was a disaster. This meeting ran from May 19-21 and focused on economic issues that was revealed in an earlier communication released by Clay and Sean Pickering. This meeting lasted three days.
The fourth UN UFO/ET meeting was chaired by the senior US military liaison which was Source A. An attempt was made to find neutral territory, but was unsuccessful. This meeting again, according to Source A, was a disaster. It lasted only one day from the three scheduled. The meeting occurred just prior to Source A leaving for another covert assignment at the end of May 2008.
Source A emphasized that the US Navy (and Marines) has always been focused on overall policy issues concerning extraterrestrials, while the USAF handled contact with extraterrestrial life. The US Army, Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security have been responsible for security and bases. This is corroborated by reports that extraterrestrials had in the past showed up USAF bases to deal with representatives of the Eisenhower administration. Also, whistleblower reports confirm that Army forces have been involved with enforcing security at bases involving extraterrestrial related projects.
Source A said that USAF has handed off to the US Navy responsibility for a specific contact project involving the extraterrestrials discussed in the February 12 meeting. That means that US Navy has begun to play a role in both setting policy and contact with at least one form of extraterrestrial life.
The fifth UN UFO/ET meeting was attended by the replacement of Source A whose identity has not been revealed. This meeting was again held in Upstate NY. According to the US Navy admiral in overall charge of the US delegation (led by Source A’s replacement) the meeting was cordial.
The sixth meeting was held outside of the US (in Europe) for security reasons. According to the admiral, those involved in the European meeting were "doing good work"
Source A emphasized that the military liaisons at this series of UN inspired meetings were trying to get agreement on how to nations ought to respond to the prospect of extraterrestrial vehicles appearing over countries. It’s worth pointing out that this is the same scenario that was debated in the Japanese parliament in December 2007. It led to the Japanese Minister of Defense making a statement concerning how the Japanese self defense force might respond to such a scenario.
Source A said further that the admiral in charge of the covert disclosure process revealed the talking points for the last two meetings held without Source A’s attendance. These included the following:
1. "What if [extraterrestrial] spacecraft start making demands?"2. "If they [extraterrestrials] do make demands, what should be our responses as a collective people?"3. If the craft appear without any hostile intent, there should be agreement that no hostile action is taken by any nation. 4. That NATO should take whatever measures necessary to ensure no hostile response is taken in response to the appearance of any ETV occurs.5. International Banking systems should keep operating with minimal disruption to economic systems.6. How to ensure the global distribution of extraterrestrial knowledge and technology.
According to Source A, point six was the most difficult issue in the discussions.
Threats to UN Diplomatic CommunityI raised the issue of two independent reports that diplomats had been physically threatened to remain silent about UN discussions on UFOs and extraterrestrial life. I emphasized that one of the sources involved a senior European diplomat that had relayed that the physical threats were genuine and diplomats were being silenced.
Source A mentioned that one of the reasons that the UN had been chosen was that the diplomatic community is very good at leaking information. This was an important consideration in the controlled leakage initiated by the admiral and other senior Navy officials "to gauge the responses." In particular, they wanted to see the public response to the UN disclosures, and also the media response. The choice of UN ambassadors to receive the information was a strategic choice to help move forward the disclosure process. All ambassadors were fully briefed by their military liaisons on what transpired at the Upstate NY and European meetings. The Ambassadors were therefore an important part of the controlled leak and the covert Navy group is very interested in any threats made against them that impacts on the disclosure process.
Source A said that the world is hostile to extraterrestrial disclosure, that’s what the US Navy’s covert group is finding out. They are trying to find out where the hostility is coming from and whether it can be neutralized and reduced.
Source A confirmed the independent reports that UN diplomats were being threatened not to reveal to the public anything about the secret UN meetings discussing extraterrestrial life. Source A got his confirmation from unauthorized sources that he pointed out were more accurate than authorized sources. Unauthorized sources involved covert intelligence operations, and that Source A’s counterparts from the British M.O.D. were involved.
The covert Navy group behind the UN disclosures is trying to track down the source of the threats to the UN diplomats. So far these have been traced to international corporations.
The Role of International CorporationsI asked Source A if he was familiar with the Admiral Wilson incident where in 1997 in a meeting with Dr Stephen Greer and Dr Edgar Mitchell, Wilson was given codes to classified extraterrestrial related projects . Dr Mitchell recently commented in an interview about the incident substantially confirming what Greer had earlier disclosed.
I pointed out that Admiral Wilson was apparently denied access by the attorneys of a corporation. Source A said that many defense projects are subcontracted out to corporations. While DARPA may have started as the lead agency, they then subcontracted out to US and international contractors, e.g., SAIC, Lockheed, BAE, Airbus, EADS, etc. He pointed out that Corporations are much better at keeping secrets than the military. Small companies often chosen to do black projects, e.g., 300 employees. They can more easily enforce discipline to keep the projects secret. The US Defense Industry is filled with projects given to corporations. From our discussion, it was clear that there was much concern over the prominent role played by corporations in controlling information and access to extraterrestrial related projects.
ConclusionThere has been partial confirmation for the original meeting on February 12 from a number of independent sources. Due to the anonymous nature of these independent sources, there still has not been any significant media interest in the meetings conducted at the UN on February 12. Only the UFO/exopolitics community has shown any sustained interest in Source A’s disclosures and have attempted to verify these. Most of these efforts have occurred in association with members of the Open Minds Forum that has devoted considerable time and energy in investigating various aspects of Source A’s disclosures. The continued meetings in Upstate NY and Europe revealed by Source A require independent confirmation. Further investigation is required to confirm the meetings themselves, as well as their content and nations involved.
My impression of Source A is that he is sincere in his disclosures and genuinely involved in an effort by a covert group comprising senior US Navy officers to disclose information concerning extraterrestrial life. His willingness to have independent confirmation of his credentials and to be interviewed by different researchers does give confidence in his disclosures. While this is no guarantee that his disclosures are accurate, it does help inspire confidence that he is part of overall disclosure process sanctioned by senior Navy officials involved in covert operations.
There appears to be genuine concern over the way in which covert projects involving extraterrestrial related information is being run and the role played by corporations in controlling this. The extent to which the US Navy and other military forces have been sidelined in the internationalization and corporatization of extraterrestrial related projects is a major cause for concern. This is especially important insofar as threats to the diplomatic community to remain silent about the UN UFO/ET meetings have been traced to corporations.
It does appear that an important convergence of interests has led to senior US Navy officials in covert operations embarking on a controlled leak of information to the UFO/exopolitics community. This is a promising development given the nature of the privatized control system that has emerged to manage extraterrestrial related information. The lack of oversight and transparency of such a control system is not only a major cause of concern for the general public, but also for senior military officials who take seriously their oath to uphold and protect the US Constitution.

Ufo Hacker Tells Wired News What He Found

The search for proof of the existence of UFOs landed Gary McKinnon in a world of trouble.
After allegedly hacking into NASA websites -- where he says he found images of what looked like extraterrestrial spaceships -- the 40-year-old Briton faces extradition to the United States from his North London home. If convicted, McKinnon could receive a 70-year prison term and up to $2 million in fines.
Final paperwork in the case is due this week, after which the British home secretary will rule on the extradition request.
McKinnon, whose extensive search through U.S. computer networks was allegedly conducted between February 2001 and March 2002, picked a particularly poor time to expose U.S. national security failings in light of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
McKinnon tells what he found and discusses the motivation behind his online adventures in this exclusive phone interview with Wired News.
Wired News: What was your motive or inspiration for carrying out your computer hacking? Was it the War Games movie?
Gary McKinnon: This is a bit of a red herring. I have seen it but I wasn't inspired by it. My main inspiration was The Hacker's Handbook by Hugo Cornwall. The first edition that I read was too full of information.... It had to be banned, and it was reissued without the sensitive stuff in it.
WN: Without this book would you have been able to do it?
McKinnon: I would have done it anyway because I used the internet to get useful information. The book just kick-started me. Hacking for me was just a means to an end.
WN: In what way?
McKinnon: I knew that governments suppressed antigravity, UFO-related technologies, free energy or what they call zero-point energy. This should not be kept hidden from the public when pensioners can't pay their fuel bills.
WN: Did you find anything in your search for evidence of UFOs?
McKinnon: Certainly did. There is The Disclosure Project. This is a book with 400 testimonials from everyone from air traffic controllers to those responsible for launching nuclear missiles. Very credible witnesses. They talk about reverse-(engineered) technology taken from captured or destroyed alien craft.
WN: Like the Roswell incident of 1947?
McKinnon: I assume that was the first and assume there have been others. These relied-upon people have given solid evidence.
WN: What sort of evidence?
McKinnon: A NASA photographic expert said that there was a Building 8 at Johnson Space Center where they regularly airbrushed out images of UFOs from the high-resolution satellite imaging. I logged on to NASA and was able to access this department. They had huge, high-resolution images stored in their picture files. They had filtered and unfiltered, or processed and unprocessed, files.
My dialup 56K connection was very slow trying to download one of these picture files. As this was happening, I had remote control of their desktop, and by adjusting it to 4-bit color and low screen resolution, I was able to briefly see one of these pictures. It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object with geodesic spheres on either side. There were no visible seams or riveting. There was no reference to the size of the object and the picture was taken presumably by a satellite looking down on it. The object didn't look manmade or anything like what we have created. Because I was using a Java application, I could only get a screenshot of the picture -- it did not go into my temporary internet files. At my crowning moment, someone at NASA discovered what I was doing and I was disconnected.
I also got access to Excel spreadsheets. One was titled "Non-Terrestrial Officers." It contained names and ranks of U.S. Air Force personnel who are not registered anywhere else. It also contained information about ship-to-ship transfers, but I've never seen the names of these ships noted anywhere else.
WN: Could this have been some sort of military strategy game or outline of hypothetical situations?
McKinnon: The military want to have military dominance of space. What I found could be a game -- it's hard to know for certain.

It may not be stuff of the X-Files, but a UFO-tracker is reviewing a report of a strange craft seen flying over Sarnia this summer.
The unidentified flying object was reported July 20 at 9:30 p.m. Three people say they saw a white, square-shaped craft flying over an East Street apartment building. It was 30 feet wide,10 feet high and made no sound as it moved east overhead.
“It’s a very, very, very unusual sighting,” said Brian Vike, who catalogues and investigates UFO sightings on his website, HBCC UFO Research.
The three witnesses said the object had a black stripe down the middle and was flying 300-to-400 feet off the ground, far too low for an aircraft, he said.
“I’m not saying it couldn’t be something from ‘out there;’ who knows,” he said. “But when you start to give a description with markings on it, maybe it’s something manmade.”
Vike, 57, has investigated hundreds of reports from his home in Houston, British Columbia. More than one hundred cases came from Ontario this year.
“The idea is to try to investigate and figure out what it is,” he said. “A lot of it is pretty darn easy. When it gets to the really weird stuff that’s when it becomes a problem.”
Police and military officials, who often have sightings reported to them, generally aren’t co-operative, he said.

“You don’t want to make it a conspiracy kind of deal, but come on, something isn’t jibing here.”
Beyond that, it can be tough separating hoaxes from serious reports. Vike recently discovered a faked but exceptionally well-written report sent by a boy in the U.S. Apparently, he wrote it under threat of receiving a “wedgy” from his friends, Vike said.
“I just about flipped. As soon as I found out I pulled the report off (the website). You can see where they’re going sometimes and it just doesn’t make sense.”
But the Sarnia sighting is a fascinating one, he said, although he hasn’t spoken with the witnesses who filed it.
Vike said he believes there is other life in the universe. Most people aren’t reporting seeing aliens, just something unusual, he said.
“The majority of people who actually report these sightings are credible. They’re not saying they saw an alien craft, although there are some. They just saw something that didn’t sort of compute in their head.”
“This one here from Sarnia, this white box-shaped UFO doesn’t fit anything celestial,” he said. “It’s not an astronomical body, so now we’ve got something either man-made or whatever. I don’t like to get too crazy with the whatever, but we may never know.”

Skeptics Defeated:Renewed international interest in Meier's claims of personal contacts with extraterrestrial humans, for over 66 years, also coincides with the total collapse of the skeptical challenges. Chief among those who have long characterized Meier's stunning photographic, film and video evidence as merely "an easily duplicated hoax done with models", has been the international professional skeptics organizations CFI-West and IIG, affiliated with skeptical debunker James Randi.
Shortly after the release of "The Silent Revolution of Truth" the lead case investigator for IIG, Derek Bartholomaus, was forced to retract his own claims (included in the Special Features section of the film) that Meier used model trees and UFOs to help hoax his clear, daytime UFO photos, films and video from the mid-1970s (http://theyfly.com/newsflash91/Top_Skeptic_Fixed.htm). Bartholomaus and CFI-West/IIG were completely unable to provide even one photograph as evidence of any model tree or model UFO to support their premise, despite having had seven years to do so. Bartholomaus and the skeptics took another devastating blow when Uncharted Territory, the Academy Award-winning special effects company (for Independence Day) rebuffed his request for support for his model theories, instead clearly describing one of Meier's UFO films as "hard to achieve, very hard, probably even impossible to fake this kind of shot." Meier's U.S. representative, Michael Horn then took the fight back to Bartholomaus, challenging him to prove his claim that Meier had used models to hoax a highly dramatic film segment (http://www.tjresearch.info/bachtel.htm). Horn, who's researched the case for 30 years, said that there were only two possibilities for use of a model and that he was prepared to unequivocally demolish either argument.
Bartholomaus, who's been the most vocal of the skeptical protagonists for some time, failed to answer the bell for the final round, admitting that he simply wasn't prepared to substantiate his own claims. Then, like a good corner man trying to protect his fighter from further battering, James Randi's official spokesperson, Jeff Wagg, threw in the towel for the organization, surprisingly supporting Horn's position, saying, "If there's not enough evidence to support the model claim, the model claim is suspect."
With any hoaxing by special effects or models having been eliminated - by the skeptics themselves - the skeptical challenge was over.
Lie Detection:In light of these stunning, unexpected developments, the question of Meier's truthfulness takes on even more importance. And it's also explored, in a unique way, in "The Silent Revolution of Truth". Horn said, "We took the unusual step of bringing in an expert consultant to the U.S. Army Special Forces, a specialist in reading body language - which can mean life or death to a soldier. We filmed him as he watched Meier speak on film, for the first time with the sound off, just in case he could understand Meier's Swiss-German dialect, which he couldn't. We had him evaluate Meier and the retired UN diplomat, who also spoke about seeing the UFOs, and one of the Plejaren extraterrestrials, in India years ago. He gave them both a 'thumbs up'.

Of course, people should also know that Meier and 15 other witnesses all passed lie detector tests, years ago, when the original investigation was conducted."
The Media:As the skeptics self-destructed, Horn found himself inundated with requests for the Meier case to be covered on the Larry King show. Referring people to contact the show itself resulted in Horn getting a call from one flustered young producer, complaining about getting "too many" calls asking for him to be on the program. Horn said, "It's probably just youthful inexperience on her part. Being flooded with calls is usually seen as a good barometer of huge audience interest, kind of like American Idol, to use another out of this world comparison. From what we understand, the Meier case is now the most requested UFO-related topic for the Larry King show, where they already show Meier's UFO films and photos as evidence, ironically.
"The problem for the mainstream media, governments, religions and financial systems is that the Meier case takes the conversation about UFOs too far beyond their comfort zone. They love it when people focus on Roswell, where there's not a shred of remaining evidence. Now that the question has been settled, i.e. is the Meier case the biggest hoax or, as it turns out, the most important story in human history, thinking people may come to inescapable conclusions about the dangers of the path that we are on, right here on earth, and hopefully act in time to change to a more positive direction. The Meier material offers very specific suggestions on how to do that, all of which require taking complete self-responsibility for every aspect of our lives.

Blossom Goodchild - Forced Disclosure?

Like wildfires in the Australian outback, rumors of an upcoming mass televised UFO sighting over American skies are taking the Internet by storm. Blossom Goodchild, an Aussie actress and author, has the international Ufology community on its ear with channeled information concerning the eminent appearance of a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft for October 14th, 2008. Calling themselves ‘The Federation of Light’, these Beings from another world have stated to Goodchild that they intend not only to make themselves known, but also to remain more or less in place for a full 72 hour period, thereby providing the media with ample opportunity to once and for all capture on film evidence that will silence the skeptics and debunkers forever. The predicted rendezvous point? Alabama.

And here’s the kicker; she isn’t the only one making the prediction. Unbeknownst perhaps even to themselves, statements made by other individuals in the past corroborate her findings, one of these being immortalized on paper by Dannion Brinkley. In his latest book (entitled "Secrets of the Light" and published in 2004) on page 222 Brinkley says:
"By the year 2008, the fact that we are not alone in the universe will be made undeniably clear to everyone on the planet. With millions of planets and billions of stars, I cannot fathom how we could ever thought in any other terms. However, for those who have doubted, the extraterrestrials will make themselves known. I believe they feel they have no choice but to show themselves as we verge on self-annihilation, genocide and toxic poisoning. The truth of our inter-galactic lineage will become common knowledge. If I am to believe the vision, the truth of our intergalactic lineage will cause humanity to take one wild ride."
A few things stand out in all this. For one, it is rather unusual for channels and mediums to give exact dates and places for events to occur - let alone the appearance of an alien spacecraft. Some leeway and margin of error is usually provided to allow for interpretation (and for people with less than honorable intentions, room to squiggle out from). Not in this case. Goodchild is adamant and steadfast on the date.
Another point to keep in mind is that from reading the materials on her web site (blossomgoodchild.com), Goodchild herself seems at odds with the information - almost as if she thinks herself unfit for the task of bringing this information to the world. This again, is quite unusual for channels and mediums. If anything, such people rarely exhibit doubt or disbelief in their own predictions.
Naysayers will immediately dismiss Goodchild’s statements as ludicrous. However, if Goodchild was consciously perpetrating a hoax and simply wanted to make money with all this (after all, she is an author and actress), she is definitely going about it in the wrong manner. Any skilled marketing representative would tell her to do two things:
1) Be less specific of the date on which the craft is supposed to appear (actually, they would most likely tell her to put it off by at least nine months)
2) Flood the market with products and services (books, videos, seminar appearances and lectures, etc) so the money can start pouring in. She’s done neither.
Actually, her prediction was made on August 22nd of this year, with "showtime" being less than three months away - far too soon a timeline for the reaping of financial rewards or fame.
Speaking of which…
There is also the inevitable credibility factor to consider. If Goodchild proves to be wrong with this information, it is obvious that whoever enjoyed reading her materials before will begin to shun and avoid her in the future (much like our beloved and elusive Bigfoot hunters from Georgia). So on a personal level, quite a bit is at stake for Goodchild. And she would know this.
To stir the waters even further, consider that the Canadian Prime Minister Mr. Stephen Harper in the last week has called for surprise federal elections to occur on (you guessed it) Š October 14th, 2008. According to Mr. Alfred Webre from Exopolitics.com, world officials are taking the announcement of the arrival of an extraterrestrial spacecraft in our skies seriously, and plans may already be underway to pull public focus away from such a seminal event and place it on more domestic and political issues instead. In this case, the controversy generated by surprise federal elections would tie up Canadian airwaves quite nicely. If extraterrestrials wish for their presence to be known to the world on that day, they would need to account for this type of potential interference, along with one million other variables.
Of course, being highly evolved Beings, they (hopefully) would.
In any case, the heat on the forums is palpable. YouTube videos on Goodchild’s predictions are everywhere. And as one forum member on Unexplained_Mysteries remarked, the date itself is unique because October 14th 2008 translates to 10-14-2008, which becomes (if you subtract each number from the next) Šminus 2012. Coincidence? Perhaps.
Even if Blossom turns out to be wrong and nothing occurs on or around October 14th this year, it is clear by humanity’s current state of affairs that something of this nature needs to occur anyhow - and sooner rather than later. Full on contact and (to a degree) interference within human affairs cannot occur prior to a series of events such as these that will undeniably make the entire world acknowledge once and for all that Extraterrestrials are real. Whomever is watching over us needs to make themselves known, and any medium is viable, whether they are electronic, or human.

Learning about this world, galaxy, and universe is only part of the truth. Learning that we are more than our mental, physical, and spiritual bodies is equally important.
We are just beginning to raise the consciousness of the whole world in a global community. There will be many beings that will pass from earth never realizing the next level of the game of life. This is unfortunate but we have a world called reincarnation that may offer their loved ones solace. There are people on earth who can contact these beings that are still able to remain in contact by sound waves of the Akashic Field. Some beings choose to stay on earth because they believe in the old programs which were taught on earth. They are myths and religions on earth.
There are other dimensions and although we cannot go back in this time on earth, there are other places in our minds which are real and exist.
Some beings come and visit us on earth in our dreams where time travel is entirely possible. Some of us are accomplishing great things in our minds. The truth of existence as part of the Omnipresence exploring the energy of creation is only one message.
There are ways to accomplish more than being a human, intelligent sentient being on earth. There are many places to explore and some take their physical bodies and some take only their spiritual bodies.
My life has been on physical form in this life and on other occasions. I am in the process of exploring other worlds, other dimensions, and other beings not of earth.
I do not use drugs or mind altering infiltrations into my mind or body in any way. I do not believe in stimulants, however I can take or leave caffeine in cola and tea. Water serves me perfectly well. Not all beings have learned to control their yearnings and cravings. This is one of our lessons in order to become an Ascended Being and to learn to travel with other higher more intelligent Supreme Beings.
We are only programmed by others if we allow this to happen while in earthly form on earth. Learn to control thoughts and energy. This is part of our training on earth. We must learn how to leave earth once and for all without having to return. This is one of the major keys of time travel. Learning to come and go at will. But, there is a price.
There are extra terrestrial beings who are our Guides but only after we reach a certain level of being. We must learn to control our inner and outer awareness. There are teachers and students of this extraterrestrial phenomena.
Many beings on earth are not aware that they are programmed and prefer to remain this way. Many who actually wake up to the world around them and stop appearing as sleep walkers become aware of a whole new reality that others are not party too.
If the exo-political group will begin to learn about awareness inside instead of outside they too can learn to view extra terrestrials and UFOS. There are lessons for all beings on earth. It simply depends on the student and the path chosen to learn.
Sentient intelligent beings come to earth and prepare to learn what lessons are offered. There are many levels of existence and those who are only aware of a physical reality are not awakened to other possibilities. This will change in time. Some will awaken to the energy that was taught by Meta physicians and prophets. Some will be taught by Mother Nature in the school of hard knocks. Some will learn from psychics and oracles.
Be cheerful and present with all. Be one with each day and all that surrounds you. You may feel as one and alone but you are part of the all as one.
Learn that there are lessons to learn and this is what we are on earth to explore. We are about learning to communicate and explore with other parts of ourselves, such as the omnipresence. We should be habitually doing our duty to enjoy ourselves as we explore, grow, and learn. We have a duty to stay alive and to learn the importance of the events of the day.
We should all know that energy is created to explore and learn and to understand.
We are all here to learn that there are other presences in the omnipresence, which exist in many places outside of our own selves. There are many beings that are going to be revealed in the future and some may have more power and knowledge than we may have on earth. We should accept these beings as our kind. Our mantra should be that we are growing and progressing into more than we are. We know we are immortal and the master of our own fate. We should greet the unknown with a cheerful heart and mind being armed with the philosophy that understanding is power. We are all searching.

A Question of Paradigm, not Evidence

Whether the existence of extraterrestrials is an irrefutable fact or just a compelling theory, the media would do well to start telling the story

Given that the mainstream scientific community can’t even agree if the poor orbiting mass called Pluto is a planet, it may seem a strange time to ask people to consider whether or not extraterrestrial life has visited our troubled planet-especially since the mere mention of unidentified flying objects conjures stereotypes, reinforced in the media, that undermine credibility.
It’s hard to imagine, however, that even the most hardened of cynics wouldn’t be compelled by information published on the subject over the past 10 years. Sometimes raising as many unsettling questions as it answers, this serious research not only deserves notice, it demands consideration. The problem is that, no matter what mainstream science reporters are covering -from stories on nasa to promises of space tourism-they routinely ignore the subject altogether.
Detractors ought to consider the legacy of the late astronomer and physicist J. Allen Hynek, an investigator on government-sponsored studies of UFOs from the late ’40s through the ’60s, who went from being a skeptic to something of a UFO advocate before he died in 1986. What made him abandon his academic and political prejudices about a subject that usually draws jeers? It was no doubt information like that contained in an unofficial document from the RAND Corporation, a generally conservative think tank, titled ‘UFOs: What to Do?’
Written in 1968 and publicly released in 1997, the study tracks sightings from the 1500s to the modern era, including ‘the large number’ of UFOs spotted near atomic and military installations. While the report recounts how certain government agencies recommended handling such sightings (read: ridicule and denial), there’s also speculation that there could be as many as 100 million intergalactic civilizations more advanced than our own.
Hynek eventually concluded that there was an embarrassment of evidence for the existence of UFOs. Given that more substantiation has since accrued, one can’t help but wonder how-media neglect notwithstanding-meaningful discussion about the existence of the extraterrestrial has been stifled for so long.
In 1997, retired colonel Philip J. Corso, a member of President Eisenhower’s national security team and an Army intelligence officer in Korea, published an explosive book called The Day After Roswell (Pocket Books) that offers an intriguing take on the question. The author claims that materials recovered from a crash site in New Mexico in the late ’40s were seeded to corporate interests that patented the technologies-including lasers, integrated circuitry, fiber-optic networks, accelerated particle beam devices, and the Kevlar material in bulletproof vests-ostensibly to hide the original source.
Corso also argues that there are two space programs: the one that we read about and the one that is already using off-planet technology recovered and reverse-engineered for advanced military and commercial purposes-including a Star Wars system he claims has already been deployed to fend off extraterrestrials.
Richard M. Dolan, author of UFOs and the National Security State: An Unclassified History, Volume One 1941-1973 (Keyhole Publishing, 2000), says it’s difficult to follow up on claims such as Corso’s because, while classified documents created by government agencies can occasionally be ferreted out, proprietary information held by businesses and global corporations is hard to come by. Since the military and the federal government rely on subcontractors to do some of their most sensitive work, using special-access projects (SAPs) and unacknowledged special-access projects (USAPs), secrets are easier to keep. Dolan’s next work, scheduled for publication in early 2007, will explore the history of SAPs and USAPs since 1973.
Writing on his website, author and astrophysicist Bernard Haisch points out that a SAP ‘is for programs considered to be too sensitive for normal classification measures. . . . They are protected by a security system of great complexity. Many of the SAPs are located within industry funded through special contracts.’ Much of his analysis is based on ‘In Search of the Pentagon’s Billion-Dollar Hidden Budgets,’ an article by Bill Sweetman in the highly regarded British publicationJane’s International Defence Review.
‘Even members of Congress on appropriations committees (the Senate and House committees that allocate budgets) and intelligence committees are not allowed to know anything about these programs,’ Haisch writes. ‘Moreover, Freedom of Information Act requests cannot penetrate unacknowledged special access programs.’
In Chain of Command: The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib (HarperCollins, 2004), New Yorker contributor Seymour Hersh reports that one SAP, used to recruit operatives, has been linked to military torture in Iraq. The desired effect is the same: to avoid scrutiny and sidestep opposing elements that exist in the CIA and Pentagon.
‘The granddaddy of all USAPs is the UFO/ET matter,’ writes Steven Greer in his book Extraterrestrial Contact: The Evidence and Implications (Crossing Point, 1999). Greer-who says USAPs are a top-secret, compartmentalized project that not even the commander in chief has the power to access-founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI). Since the early ’90s, working under the assumption that the USAP model exists, Greer and CSETI associates have met often with high-level officials of the U.S. and other governments, including former CIA director James Woolsey.
In May 2001 CSETI held a press conference at the National Press Club at which it produced an impressive list of witnesses from the government, the military, and the private sector-along with a ream of documents and film footage-establishing, as noted in Greer’s book Disclosure (Crossing Point, 2001), that ‘we are indeed being visited by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations and have been for some time.’ Among the witnesses was John Callahan, who, when he was division chief of the Accidents and Investigations Branch of the Federal Aviation Administration, headed a 1986 investigation of a Japanese 747 that was chased for 30 minutes by a UFO (the incident was captured on radar and recorded). Not surprisingly, major media outlets all but ignored the press conference and failed to scrutinize the supplementary material.
There are a number of reasons the media avoid these topics, argues Terry Hansen in The Missing Times: News Media Complicity in the UFO Cover-up (Xlibris, 2001), including historical precedent, national security, and psychological resistance. (Consider, the author writes, that ‘for five years, the editors of Scientific American refused to acknowledge the aviation achievements of the Wright brothers because the magazine had been told by trusted authorities that manned, heavier-than-air flight was a scientific impossibility.’)
In 2006 one would hope for a better, more enlightened investigative media climate than the one that existed at the dawn of aviation. If the claims by Corso and others are true, and other crash retrievals of and technological transfers from extraterrestrial spacecraft since the ’40s have continued, imagine what mind-boggling innovations have yet to be revealed-and who stands to profit.

Astronaut Gordon Cooper On His Own Ufo Sightings

It is easy for UFO sighting skeptics to dismiss reports of UFO sightings when they come from the stereotyped trailer park UFO witness. However, when the person claiming to have experienced a UFO sighting is a former astronaut it becomes a bit more difficult to simply brush aside the claims of alien sightings.
In this UFO sighting video, former astronaut Gordon Cooper talks frankly about his own UFO sightings. Gordon Cooper, who took part in the Mercury 9 and Gemini 5 missions, talks about a 1951 UFO sighting when he saw hundreds of UFOS flying up very high in the sky. Gordon Cooper tells the interviewer that the UFO sightings took place for over a day and how the UFO sightings were explained away be officials.
This is only one of many UFO sightings that Gordon Cooper discusses in this UFO sighting video. It is nice to know that we are getting UFO testimony on video from people such as Gordon Cooper before it is too late.

The WoW! Signal - Communication with Extraterrestrials

An anomalous, narrow-band burst of radio noise picked up on August 15, 1977, during SETI observations by the Big Ear of the Ohio State University Radio Observatory. The signal, which lasted 37 seconds and came from the direction of Sagittarius, attracted the attention of Ohio State astronomer Jerry Ehman, who scrawled "Wow!" in the margin of the print-out. It was, said Ehman
... the strangest signal I had ever seen ... At first, I thought it was an earth signal reflected from space debris, but after I studied it further, I found that couldn't be the case.
The signal was near the 21-centimeter line (1,420-MHz) of hydrogen, where all radio transmissions are prohibited both on and off the Earth by international agreement; it covered only a narrow spread of frequencies unlike the broad-band emission typical of most natural radio sources; and it came from beyond the distance of the Moon. The nearest star in the direction the telescope was pointing is 220 light-years (68 parsecs) away. A source at this distance using a transmitting dish as big as the Arecibo radio telescope (the largest in the world) would require a 2.2 gigawatt transmitter-extraordinarily powerful but not out of the question. Another possibility is that a much weaker signal from a more remote source may have experienced gravitational microlensing by an intervening star. More than 100 subsequent searches of the same region of sky have failed to recover the signal. However, this is not surprising. A telescope such as the Big Ear listens to only about one millionth of the sky at a time and a similar dish on another planet would broadcast to only about one millionth of the sky. The chance of an alignment between receiver and transmitter, therefore, would only be about one in a trillion. On the other hand, it is possible that many such, similarly strong, intermittent and highly directional signals, are arriving at the Earth every day. Although the Wow! signal remains unexplained, Paul Shuch of the SETI League has made the interesting observation that
Either the Wow! signal was the intercepted radiation from another civilization, or it's a previously undiscovered astrophysical phenomenon. Either possibility is mind-boggling.

The universe is boundless, stretching into infinity. Man, despite the advancement of space technology, will never find the end of this 'Great Unknown'. We are but a speck in its vastness, and we have always been searching for the truth of our existence. Who are we, where are we from, who made us and why, and what happens to us when we die are the questions we ask every day.
Religious and other philosophers have come up with 'answers'/ 'speculation', and they are invariably centred on a belief in 'The Creator'.
Different explanation
But all philosophies have a different explanation for creation, as we know it and, by extension, 'The Creator'. Christian philosophers, for example, believe in God, The Creator of Earth and man. God was represented on Earth by Jesus Christ. For them, creation began in the Garden of Eden and will end in either Heaven or Hell.
Even among Christians, there is a divide between those who believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (The Trinity) and those who believe only in Jesus. There is even a greater subdivision into denominations, each with its own set of beliefs and doctrines. Yet, the ultimate goal for all is to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus.
However, there are agnostics and atheists - and some non-Christians who believe in God - who have different ideas of their existence and the hereafter. To them, in this vast universe, there are many possibilities outside of the Christian realms, and the Bible (the point of reference for Christians and an oft-translated history of the Middle East, North Africa and parts of the Mediterranean written by man) cannot adequately explain the mystery of our existence.
But who and what is man? We are beings made of flesh and bone, with an imaginative brain. With this brain, we think about our existence (who we are) and our place in this unfolding universe, which has been around for billions of years.
Do other worlds exist?
Living on Earth, we do not know for sure if other worlds exist million of miles away from us. And man has always believed he is not alone in this vastness. To him, aliens, therefore, are among and around us, travelling at great speed between their dimensions and ours.
Paul 'DJ Pablo' Riley, of Portmore, St Catherine, is one of millions who believe in the existence of aliens who traverse the universe in unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Last week, we told the story of his belief and his insatiable appetite for research on the topic. Surprisingly, all the email feedback seems to support his claim and that of many others.
It was surprising that no Christian wrote to refute his claim. For a belief in aliens runs counter to a belief in God. Thus, believers in the existence of aliens say powerful governments of the world know the 'Truth', but have conspired to hide it from their citizens to avert mass hysteria. The admittance of such would tear Christendom apart.
Finding the 'Truth'
There are people like Paul Riley who are working tirelessly to find the 'Truth'. They are adamant that the volume of evidence they have is enough to convince them that aliens are real. Some of what they have found is puzzling, if not frightening. It says man is just another being in the whole scheme of things, nothing special, and that when we expire, that's it. The universe continues to unfold and evolve.
And what if this is true? What if there are, in fact, beings existing elsewhere? Were they too created by God or whosoever you perceive the Creator to be? Would it drive you insane? Would it destroy your belief in Jesus, Heaven and Hell? For the Bible says God created Heaven and Earth, Adam and Eve. Nowhere and nobody else are mentioned. So, if aliens are real, who made them, and where are they from?
This is what one reader said: "I have been watching every documentary on Discovery Channel, National Geographic and the History Channel. I have seen where (United States presidents) Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford have come in contact with UFOs. I started to say to myself, "These people are highly intelligent people to be saying these things, therefore, something must be out there."

"What amazes me is the similarity of the stories around the world. I have a friend that lives out by Wicky Wacky beach, going towards Yallahs. One night, he saw what he thought was a Good Year blimp with portholes on the side. He thought how odd this thing was flying in the wee hours in the morning (about 2 a.m.).
"Then the thing came down real low and just moved off at the speed of light, into the sky with no sound. He said he did not like to talk about it because people make fun of him. Another who believes God is the Creator of alien wrote: "People might see your column yesterday (last week Monday) in the Entertainment section and think it is some joke. DJ Pablo knows, to some extent the 'Truth', but only some, because no one can fully understand the entire 'Truth', as the 'Truth' is the Almighty God, the Creator.
"It was an illusion once, but now, at age 23, more in-depth research has informed and urged me to 'think outside of the box'. Aliens are higher beings of the Creator, the builders of the pyramids and the initiators of the Melchizedek Order. These are the super-intelligent beings who are purer in terms of their five high senses - We are ultimately descendants of these galactic forces."

“I’m one of the people who instantly saw that these images were fakes, CG elements composited onto photographic background plates. Jeff Ritzmann & I could immediately tell that the first image was a total fake, and the silly story from “Chad” made if painfully clear that this was all nonsense, perhaps perpetrated by C2C & LMH in order to drum up some traffic and interest. Subsequent images were increasingly more ridiculous. From the fact that these images don’t match up to any morphology we’ve seen in over 60 years of publicly reported UFO sightings, to the childish typefaces, the obvious rendered look of the “craft”, the lighting mismatch between the CG element and the background plates, what more do you need?”

Shortly after sunset in early January, 2008, as stars began to appear on the eastern horizon, I took my dogs into my backyard for their evening jaunt.

Living approximately 3 miles from a county airport, I expect to see aircraft of all types flying overhead in a regularly known landing pattern. And, as a retired USG official who held a top secret clearance I have seen a multitude of different aircraft. I have aways been a reluctant believer of life elsewhere in the universe but unable to believe the Earth was being routinely visited by life elsewhere. However, the events of that evening were clear and convincing proof to me of both. I have attempted to analyze and absorb the event over the past 9 months and put it into some rational context. Frankly, I can't and, I now understand why UFO witnesses are so reluctant to come forward.

It began innocently enough. As I stood in my backyard watching my dogs, I was startled by an intense flashing red light from the corner of my eye that seemed to come from an aircraft only vaguely outlined. The craft was so low that it seemed to be on a crash course in my own neighborhood, actually next door, which is why I was startled. As I turned east to get a better look, I clearly saw a black matted triangular craft against a darkening skyline silently hovering about 100 feet over my neighbors house with a pulsing red light beneath the craft. It was not moving at all, and there was absolute silence. I was completely transfixed by this sight. My thoughts were that this couldn't be happening, but it was. So, I rapidly tried to put the craft into some context which I understood. I began to compare what I was witnessing with a list of the kinds of aircraft with which I was familiar - none fit. It seemed to be relatively flat on top and bottom with equidistant but rounded sides with no visible windows or visible projections on its surfaces. I also began comparing the size and shape of the craft with my Toyota SUV which was immediately below the craft, with my neighbor's house also below the craft, and with the 50 foot tall trees in my backyard which were bare since it was winter. In relative measure to these known objects, the craft was as large as my neighbors house and most of his backyard combined. So, it seemed to be about 100 to 125 feet on each of 3 sides and about 20 feet in thickness with a dense black matte covering. By comparing the height of the trees in our yards with the craft, the craft was silently hovering approximately 100 feet above my neighbor's house. The red light at the front of the craft was unlike any I have seen on existing aircraft - it was incredibly intense and clear, almost like a super LED. It was located under the craft at one end of the triangle that appeared to be the front of the craft. The craft also seemed to have an equally intense white light eminating from the rear end but its source was not clearly apparent at the angle the craft was to me at that time. That white light was not the same as the flashing lights on wingtips of known aircraft. This white light was not flashing or pulsing but was steady and appeared to be of a soft but equally intense quality of light. After approximately 5 minutes, the craft made a 90 degree turn to the east and began drifting slowly and silently away. As it turned, I was able to see two large circles each approximately 8-10 feet in diameter at either side at the end surface of the craft which were the sources of the white light I had only seen before from an angle. The white light was steady and intense but of a softer nature than the flashing red light. After another 5 or so minutes, the craft had slowly moved out of sight. In closing, let me note that I was absolutely stunned by this event and speechless or otherwise I would have attempted to make some effort to contact the craft. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It was not a US aircraft. I don't believe that any other nation has this kind of technology at the present time. The only conclusion I am able to draw from this event is that the craft was clearly and purposely surveiling the area. It was also clear that the craft saw me watching it but made no attempt to contact me or to evade the area. On reflection, I'm sure those piloting the craft could not perceive any threat to its presence from anyone. One final note, for some unknown reason, my dogs did not respond to its presence, they were quiet and not frantic - it seems that reaction is reserved for the postman.

Dear Colleagues,
We are in the curious situation today that our best modern physics and astrophysics theories arguably predict that we should be experiencing extraterrestrial visitation, yet any possible evidence of such lurking in the UFO phenomenon is scoffed at within our scientific community (see the JBIS article linked below for details).
To give some background, I have been an active professional astronomer since earning my doctorate in 1975. I have published a respectable number of scientific papers in most of the right journals (including our favorites, Science and Nature), have been Principal Investigator on several NASA studies, have served as referee and proposal reviewer for NASA and NSF, belong to half a dozen professional societies, have chaired international conferences, i.e. I’ve engaged by and large successfully in all the usual activities of a busy professional scientist. For those of you who want the full details, click here for my CV.
During my career I have had the responsibility and privilege as an editor of accepting or rejecting somewhere in the neighborhood of a thousand articles in a prestigious astrophysics journal. This does not conclusively prove, but certainly indicates, that I recognize good science when I see it. I have also had the responsibility of accepting or rejecting papers on the UFO phenomenon in a quite different refereed journal, the Journal of Scientific Exploration (JSE). For 12 years I served as editor of JSE (as an unpaid public service) because I believe that examining evidence that may challenge prevailing scientific dogma is good for science and a necessary part of searching for the truth. The road of discovery may have 99 deadends in the thicket for every new path winding its way up the peak, but that is just how it is. Curiosity and tenacity are equal prerequisites for a scientist… as is an open mind.
I have learned quite a bit about the UFO phenomenon over the years (certainly more than I had bargained for) and have met many of the leading figures, some credible, some deluded. When Prof. Peter Sturrock, a prominent Stanford University plasma physicist, conducted a survey of the membership of the American Astronomical Society in the 1970s, he made an interesting finding: astronomers who spent time reading up on the UFO phenomenon developed more interest in it. If there were nothing to it, you would expect the opposite: lack of credible evidence would cause interest to wane. But the fact of the matter is, there does exist a vast amount of high quality, albeit enigmatic, data. UFO sightings are not limited to farmers in backward rural areas. There are astronomers and pilots and NASA engineers — and others who have been around the block a few times when it comes to observing natural phenomena — who have witnessed events for which there is no plausible conventional explanation.
Recently astrophysicist Ken Olum at Tufts University argued (gr-qc/0303070)that anthropic reasoning applied to inflation theory predicts that we should find ourselves part of a large, galaxy-sized civilization, implying that the "We are alone" solution to Fermi’s paradox is inconsistent with our best current theory of cosmology. Beatriz Gato-Rivera, a physicist at the Instituto de Matematicas y Fisica in Madrid, followed up on this (physics/0308078)with the hypothesis that Olum is correct, but that by design we would be kept unaware of a greatly advanced surrounding civilization. She also argues that modern superstring and M-brane theory further aggravate Fermi’s "missing alien" problem. It is quite strange that while our best modern physics and astrophysics theories thus predict that we should be experiencing extraterrestrial visitation, any possible evidence of such in the form of a subset of UFO reports is ignored or ridiculed.
There is another aspect to the UFO phenomenon that involves politics and secrecy rather than observational evidence. I do not currently have a ticket to any SCI program, but over the years I have gotten to know individuals who for one reason or another would be aware of the existence of relevant black programs. From such sources, certain possibilities have made it through my credibility filter and now reside — like Schroedinger’s cat — in kind of an unresolved mental superposition of quantum states having both the eigenvalues "true" and "false" and no operator around to collapse the wave function. My credibility filter is a function of several parameters such as my own knowledge of physical laws, state of technology and history of its origin, some personal experience with government agencies and security classification systems, but mostly the filter is tuned to the questions: Which people have I learned over the years to be trustworthy, sensible and knowledgeable? How would they be in a position to know the things they do? Why and to what extent would they tell me anything, even based on long-time friendship? Do they have anything to gain by telling stories or making claims? What consistency and convergence is there among various people’s claimed information?
I see myself a bit like the kid standing next to the kid looking through the hole in the big tall fence at the baseball game. This means that the closest I am getting to inside information will be a recounting of what is going on in there. I myself am definitely not an insider, but contacts I have acquired and/or befriended over a long period of time seem to be on the periphery of some kind of inside which appears to contain at least remarkable information, and apparently more than that. Let me be (somewhat) more specific. I now have three completely independent examples of individuals whom I trust reporting to me that individuals they trust have admitted to handling alien materials in "our" possession in the course of secret official duties. And in yet two more cases, I am similarly one (trustworthy) step removed from a former head of a federal government agency who was involved with a special access program reporting decades-long extraterrestrial reverse engineering efforts and a head of state of a G8 country who also said he had been officially briefed on that program. Now the Air Force Project Blue Book of the 1950s and 1960s did have both a public and a classified side. I suspect that after the public half of Blue Book closed up shop following the Condon Report, its classified half may have continued, existing today as a black special access program (see below).
Could such things possibly be true? While I am intrigued by what I have learned over the years, I can’t be absolutely certain. It is interesting that from the clandestine intelligence world-perspective the scientific community, for all of its technical and theoretical sophistication, is viewed as remarkably naive in certain respects. We scientists tend to think that we know better than anyone else what is possible and what is impossible, and that we of all people could surely not be kept in the dark for very long. Over the course of time I have learned how it would indeed be possible to maintain decades-long secrecy on this topic and why this might be justified, concepts I myself once dismissed. (See Black Special Access Programs, also Some Thoughts on Keeping It Secret. And for some insight on the origin of this situation see the book UFOs and the National Security State: An Unclassified History. Vol. 1: 1947-1973 by Richard Dolan; also The Missing Times by Terry Hansen which documents the history of ties between the national media and the intelligence community. I am aware that these two books have been criticised for over-reliance on secondary sources. More scholarly work is available, such as that of Jan Aldrich, but I think that Dolan and Hansen present a useful and eye-opening introduction to the situation in general, especially for someone first approaching this topic.)
The above is, of course, short of any kind of proof, but all-in-all I have now gotten to the point in my exposure to the subject at which I think it somewhat more likely than not that something not merely delusional, but real and important may be going on with regard to the UFO phenomenon. If so, I would like to discover what it is, or what the ensemble of phenomena are if it is a multiplicity of things. My estimation of the probable reality of the subject puts me somewhere between the majority rejectionist view of the mainstream scientific community and the majority accepting view of the general public (depending on how the issue is presented in opinion polls).
I propose that true skepticism is called for today: neither the gullible acceptance of true belief nor the closed-minded rejection of the scoffer masquerading as the skeptic. One should be skeptical of both the believers and the scoffers. The negative claims of pseudo-skeptics who offer facile explanations must themselves be subject to criticism. If a competent witness reports having seen something tens of degrees of arc in size (as happens) and the scoffer — who of course was not there — offers Venus or a high altitude weather balloon as an explanation, the requirement of extraordinary proof for an extraordinary claim falls on the proffered negative claim as well. That kind of approach is also pseudo-science. Moreover just being a scientist confers neither necessary expertise nor sufficient knowledge. (I wish it did, sigh.) Any scientist who has not read a few serious books and articles presenting actual UFO evidence should out of intellectual honesty refrain from making scientific pronouncements. To look at the evidence and go away unconvinced is one thing. To not look at the evidence and be convinced against it nonetheless is another. That is not science. Do your homework!

The International Space Station is a large satellite, currently carrying a crew of three human beings, circling the Earth a little over 200 miles up. And you can easily see it in the sky this week.
Keith JohnsonIt doesn't appear in the same place at the same time every night. Some nights we don't see it at all. But starting this week, we'll have some good evening opportunities. The best thing about ISS passes is that you don't need a powerful telescope or 20-20 vision to do the observations: you just need a pair of eyes that work reasonably well.
The ISS looks like a bright star, often much brighter than any true star, drifting across the sky. It appears somewhere in the west, and moves toward some point on the eastern horizon, taking up to five minutes to traverse the sky. Yes, it moves in a direction opposite to the (much slower) motion of the Sun and stars from east to west. That's true of many satellites.

To see the Station, check the schedule below for the starting point of the pass, then for the ending point. Then notice how high up (in degrees above the horizon: remember your plastic protractors?) it will be at its maximum altitude, usually midway between the starting and ending points. This will give you a rough idea of its path across the sky.
Face the initial direction, and imagine how the dot will be moving. It will start out quite faint, because then we're looking mostly at the dark, unilluminated side, so you may not catch it right away. Sweep your eyes back and forth along the expected path until you can pick it out.
It will brighten dramatically as it progresses across the sky, until by the middle of the pass you can't miss it, for these bright events anyway. It will fade out slowly as it continues down toward the predicted ending point, but if you have an unobstructed horizon, you can follow it for a surprising distance.
Here's the schedule for the next few nights for South Jersey. I'm only including the easiest, brightest passes here. If you want to look for the more challenging events, I'll tell you how in a few moments. (See below for explanations of the terms marked with "*").
Sunday, September 21 (tonight!), 7:17-7:23 p.m. The ISS rises in the southwest (SW), moving up and to the left. It will reach its highest position in the sky (its maximum altitude*) a little more than halfway up (53 degrees above the horizon) in the southeast (SE). Finally, it will fade out in the horizon murk in the east-northeast (ENE), as it heads out over the Atlantic. This is quite a bright pass; an astronomer would assign it a magnitude* of -2.1 (yes, less than zero), brighter than any star.
Monday, September 22, 7:44-7:49 p.m. Rises in WSW, moving up and to the right this time; peaks at 40 degrees altitude in NNW; sets NE. Magnitude down to -1.1, which is significantly fainter (yes, fainter: the magnitude scale is upside-down*) than yesterday's pass, but still brighter than any visible star.
Wednesday, September 24, 7:02-7:07. Rises W; peaks a bit lower (36 degrees up) in NNW; sets NE. Magnitude only -0.8: still bright, but nothing like Sunday's appearance.
*Altitude: the apparent angular distance in degrees above the horizon, NOT the distance above the Earth's surface in miles. 0 is at the horizon; 45 degrees is halfway up; 90 is straight overhead, at the zenith.
*Magnitude: a scale of brightness that developed from a system invented centuries ago in ancient Greece. It's a bit different from the scales most of us are used to. For one thing, the smaller the number, the brighter the object. The brightest summer star is at 0 (zero); Jupiter has a magnitude of -2.4; Venus stands at -4. The faintest stars you can see with the unaided eye are at +6. One word of warning: the predictions listed here are usually underestimates, in the sense that the ISS is usually quite a bit brighter than the numbers indicate.
The ISS looks like just a bright dot. But it's actually a multi-room laboratory connected with passages, and sports multiple large solar panels that supply electrical power for life support and experiments. You can find more information about the ISS at www.nasa.gov/station.
The Station has been growing over the years. As a result, it's also been getting brighter, since it shines by reflected sunlight. This sometimes leads to an interesting event. Once in a while, the ISS will pass into the Earth's shadow while it's still some distance above the horizon. It then fades from view over a period of a few seconds. That doesn't happen for the passes listed here, but if you continue watching the station in future passes, you'll undoubtedly witness such a happening.
If you would like to see future predictions, or predictions for other satellites, go to www.heavens-above.com. Heavens Above is a marvelous Web site that will predict the ISS appearances, and many other satellites as well. When a Space Shuttle is in orbit, you can find out where to look for it at Heavens Above. You'll first have to choose your home town--satellite passes differ for different locations--but every city I've ever looked for is in the list, no matter how small. Once you've gotten to the proper page for your location, you can bookmark it in your Web browser.
There are dozens of satellites passing over every night. Most of them are faint enough that they're only visible from a dark location, so the next time you're vacationing in the Poconos or the Pine Barrens, bring along a printout from Heavens Above.
Being able to predict satellite passes offers you the opportunity to impress your friends. A few years ago I was leading a star party in a state park. I knew that, by chance, at a certain time that night, a particular satellite was going to reflect so much light to the ground, right where we'd be standing at the time, that it would momentarily become several times brighter than Venus. These are called Iridium satellites. They're quite spectacular, and you can find out details of their appearances at Heavens Above, too.
A few moments before the event was due to happen, I told my audience that I happened to know there was a UFO mother ship overhead, and that it was due to send a laser beam message down to secret alien agents on Earth. When the Iridium satellite flared up brilliantly for a few seconds, my reputation was made for the evening. (I did eventually explain to everyone what really happened).
State ethics codes force me to remind you that such shenanigans are NOT SUPPORTED by the university at which I'm employed, and your humble writer is not responsible for what might happen if you try this gag yourself. But seeing human-created machines flying overhead, at least one of them with people on board, is impressive and enjoyable, even if you don't use them for reprehensible purposes. Go out the next clear night when the ISS is going over and give it a try!
Astronomy is something anyone can do, to one extent or another. But it's easier to do with a little help. Now showing at the Edelman Planetarium is "The Rowan Universe," a multimedia portrayal of all the different facets of the astronomy program at Rowan University. In this public planetarium show you'll delve into some of the fascinating mysteries of the cosmos being investigated by Rowan astronomers. You'll accompany a class of school children on a dangerous trip into Jupiter's atmosphere. You'll find out why astronomy is one of the most popular science classes at the university.
"The Rowan Universe" plays on Saturdays at 7 p.m. through November 22. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $3 for children under 13, $3 for seniors over 60, and $3 for Rowan students. This show is most enjoyable for children over eight years of age. Come do some astronomy with us!

My name is Mark Mann and on June 19th 2004 in Northern British Columbia, Canada, I videotaped many of the objects shown in the air show tape. I was wondering if they would appear somewhere else as there was so many of them in the sky that day. I even managed to get one frame showing them in almost focus.

Attached are a couple of stills from the video I shot. Compare them to the air show footage and I know they are the same objects. Here is the video you requested, or at least part of it.

The objects from the still are at time index 28:13. It is important to note that ALL of the other things zipping by are also these objects. I recorded almost 45 minutes of these things but only managed to save a little over 2 minutes on disk before the video was recorded over. In that 2+ minutes there are around 200 of these objects flying around. Over the whole time in that little patch of sky, who knows how many there were, or for how long they had been passing by.

So here's the history of this video. On June 19th, 2004 I was over at a friends house helping to finish a deck that we rebuilt the day before. At around 2-2:30 I was just sitting around so I grabbed his camcorder to see if I could film some "Rods" by placing the camcorder on a tripod and tilting it up at around 60 degrees or so, in such a manner that the sun was just blocked by the roof edge. I then zoomed out to 40x digital zoom. I had not used his camcorder before so I did not properly set the focus. The sky was a nice deep blue with not a cloud in sight. Blocking the sun with the roof did not show any tree fluff or anything like that flying around. With just your eyes one could see nothing, the sky was empty. Around 35-40x these things started to show up zipping by at a high rate of speed. I knew they were not bugs or that white fluff that is around in the summer and was at a loss for what I was filming. After 45 minutes I shut it off and went inside to the computer. Using his wife's computer I downloaded about 20 minutes of footage when he got a call from work and we had to go. A couple of days later I was back over there looking at the footage frame by frame trying to figure out what I had got. At that time it had skipped over the frame with the two objects almost in focus so I continued to go frame by frame for awhile then again had to leave. A day later my friend took his camcorder to a family reunion and taped over my footage. Luckily I managed to save 2+ minutes onto a disk before he left. When they got back his wife did a reboot of her computer wiping out all the footage an it. It was almost a month later when I was going over the disk that I saw the frame with the 2 objects. It was then that I started to understand what I had on tape.

How many others did I get in focus on the rest of the video? What else had the camcorder caught that day? I'll never know cause the footage is gone, made me sick to even think about it. The only way to understand this footage is to go over it frame by frame. I've also included a few out of many other objects I've seen and filmed over the last couple of years for your enjoyment.

i've filtered these UFO's a while back but then i focussed only on the objects/crafts on top of what looks like a flying platform or maybe i should call it an anti gravity device with a machine/craft on it... both objects seem to be pointed to the left so i don't believe they're discs. these objects remind me of those objects parked on Iceland. fin.

PARANORMAL UFOs - Paranormal community, your comments are needed!
A little history about this first. The witness lives in Kentucky and a daylight picture of his residence appears above. The individual who took the following pictures originally posted his sightings at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) with the assumption that they were alien oriented UFOs. The MUFON director for the State of Kentucky picked up on his sightings and visited his home on the September 13, 2008. While he was at the home, the MUFON director himself witnessed what the resident had been photographing since early August.
I emailed the MUFON director in Kentucky and he responded with the following."While I have some opinions about the case so far....I have to reserve judgment until we have had a chance to investigate it further...after all we are taking on a case with already over 30 gb's of pictures....the case seems to be more of a spiritual nature but I still can not comment yet."-Earle Benezet.So essentially we not only have the original photographer, we have the director of MUFON for the State of Kentucky as a witness as well.The original pictures (links) that were uploaded directly to MUFON's case management system are found directly above the picture it pertains to. I will also mention that there are three cameras going on and sometimes at the same time. Here is an Exif data viewer to use if you like but make sure you only use it on the originals (urls) and not the pictures that I've posted.I will continue to update his pictures in this same spot as they are made available. Below are 24 originals and this individual has upwards of 100, and possibly more now. I've taken the liberty to zoom into the pictures as to show the pixel distribution. If he's got hundreds of these pictures, I see no reason why he would spend the time trying to modify pixels and I see nothing out of the ordinary in regards to such.The gentleman in Kentucky has a few comments he's made in the MUFON case management system, which I will retrieve and post a little later as well. From reading them previously he does appear to be a spiritual individual as he references God and praying while asking to see such things.

Monday 2.50pm -MORE responses to sightings of 'orange lights' UFOs near Louth have been pouring into the Leader – with some wondering if recent UFO activity is connected to the Large Hadron Collider experiment in Geneva.
A man called Anthony from Wales emailed a similar account of what he saw: "I was having a cigarette outside my front door on Saturday at around 9pm and I looked over the roof tops and saw two orange-red glowing lights coming from over the hill where I live. "I called my wife and daughter to come and have a look, then a third light followed the other two. My wife phoned her father who lives not far away and he saw them too. I then went to get my camera but by the time I got it out the lights just vanished. Not knowing what they were I decided to search the net to see if any one has seen the same as us and I came across your picture which is exactly what we saw. "We live in a little village in Swansea and after 47 years of looking up at night this is the first UFO I have ever seen." He added: "Could it be something to do with that experiment they are doing under ground in Geneva letting out pockets of energy or something?" The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator, intended to smash protons together in the hope of learning more about the Big Bang theory. It was turned on to much international press interest last week despite some scientists calling for the experiment to be stopped, in fear it could lead to the formation of mini black holes, which could expand and swallow the Earth. Rachel Rijsdijk emailing from The Netherlands said she also saw similar orange lights last Saturday: "On Saturday night a week ago I was driving on the highway, past a city called Eindhoven, and I saw three orange round lights high in the sky. They were not moving, but hanging in a triangle form."Reg Lambert from Rugby emailed to tell us about his own recent experience: "I and three others saw an orange light travelling south-west to north-east over Rugby at about 8pm. "It was travelling quite fast and was above the height of a few clouds around at an estimated height of 5000ft. A few minutes after disappearing from view it reappeared travelling in the opposite direction."He added: "There was no flicker or variation, or colour change, and it was in a straight line."David Hinde from North Yorkshire is adament such sightings are not sky lanterns after witnessing some strange lights in the sky near his home: "I have seen the orange/red spheres in the skies above Speeton, moving in ways no conventional aircraft move - diagonal, vertical and horizontal movements, with no sound and no vapour trails - definitely not sky lanterns."Theorising on where the UFOs came from, he concluded: "I am personally of the opinion that these objects are not of this world and believe that there is a continued cover up."

I warned about this before and now it's happened. You Tube has taken off the #1 most popular UFO video poster.I knew it was a matter of time because this is how censorship works with Google. Post too many UFO videos and get too much of a following and you are considered a threat so you are cut off. Before you think that it was due to copyright, ace was always very selective in his video clips and many were just of ufo videos captured by the public.AceBryan7ox had almost 900 of the best UFO videos under his belt and it's a travesty that this has happened.This is why in the past I have urged video posters and the public to use www.dailymotion.com instead as it is located in France and not bound to manipulation forces that You Tube faces in the USA. I think the only reason they're yanking these guys is to reduce their bandwidth. When they need to do such things they look to see who's using the most bandwidth, and only then they look to find copyright infractions and without warning - you're gone and they just saved a lot of money on next month on bandwidth.I see no other reason they would remove all of their videos without notification. Instead, with someone with 900 videos in You Tube, they simply could picked out the infractions to delete and leave the others alone. Instead, we're now with 900 You Tube videos of Brian's. There are a few other You Tubers that bit the dust more recently as well and they're listed below. It's not about broadcasting and educating, it's all about capitalism and money first. If you are a video poster take REAL UFOs advice below. Who wants bets duderinok as the next to go.

If anyone takes the time to examine the evidence a person must come to the conclusion UFOs exist. I have noticed better and more detailed video and photos are being taken as more people have digital cameras, phones with cameras and video equipment. We have over a thousand cases with occupants being seen. The UFOs regularly hover over our airfields, nuclear sites, power plant, hospitals, and schools and chase our aircraft, ships and trains. We have numerous cases where UFOs are spotted and our animals verify they are also aware of the visitors. We have some sixty UFO events per hour, that often effect witnesses in numerous ways. They seem to operate with electromagnetic propulsion that could change the propulsion system and our reliance on foreign oil. Virtually every time the Shuttle flies or cosmonauts go into space their cameras pick up UFOs. It would seem that any nation that understands the propulsion system and advanced technology of UFOs would become rulers of the planet. Even today our aircraft are no match for the speeds and maneuverability of UFOs. -
There are other aspects of UFOs such as the advanced healing techniques reported of the UFOnauts that should be researched. I had two medical doctors examine the two foot long horizontal scar across the chest of an abductee. They could think of no medical reason for making such a long incision on the chest of this man. However, the scar proved the incision had occurred and healed in a matter of hours by a green light. The UFOnauts used a pencil like flashlight to make the incision and close and quickly heal the wound. There are numerous examples of cuts, biopsy, scars, implants that should be examined by the medical field. My research indicates the UFOnauts use light to heal, rather than drugs. Picking up on these stories I have researched the concept of healing by light in various color frequencies. I have a history of colds and flu like symptoms for virtually every year of my life that have never been prevented by flu shots or really prevented or helped by modern medicine. Discussing this problem with a UFO researcher and patent developer Curtis Cooperman he suggested light treatment. Using a simple lime green light I have gone more than a year without a cold.
Using a lime green light whenever my wife or I suspect we’re coming down with a cold or the flu we have reversed the effects and stayed healthy. I mentioned this result to my Doctor who simply stated, "Whatever works, science has now cure for the common cold." Billions are spent on drugs and virtually no research is being conducted in the medicine and treatments apparently used by the UFOnauts.

I saw three luminous spheres in the sky to the left of the helicopter. I could not see what type of helicopter it was. When I first saw the three spheres and helicopter in close proximity, I felt a sense of terror.

June 19, 2008, 10:15 pmEST. east to west trajectory, video looks south east to wards moon and then the ufo disapears towards jupiter, that is where light dies out at. this light is brighter and larger than any star by 3 times . it is also in front of the clouds. The light was LARGE and RED. It was glowing like fire, an orange tint was present. At the end of its linear path, Bright green lights, almost laser coloured were blinking. It was strange how the lights blinked as there was no blinking for the whole 2 minutes of watching it fly by. shortly after it then proceeded to pass by in the same direction on the same trajectory with the same velocity.

UFO over Houston B.C.

This video was taken at the mall parking lot in Houston, British Columbia. It is about 45 minutes from my home. My daughters and I were shopping just shortly before Xmas 2007. They were in the car taping this (whatever it is) as I came out of the mall. It was quite a distance away. Looked like a planet or a star only it was moving slowly and I'm not sure what a planet or a star is supposed to look like through a video camera. It wasn't close up or buzzing around like the ones we saw at home. I thought it was very pretty and would like an opinion as to whether or not a planet or a star does this. My original is so much clearer than the upload to photobucket, so I am trying Youtube to see if it makes a difference. The best part is close to the end of the video if you pause it at the red lights. Just keep hitting pause.

GENEVA - The world's largest particle collider passed its first major tests by firing two beams of protons in opposite directions around a 17-mile (27-kilometer) underground ring Wednesday in what scientists hope is the next great step to understanding the makeup of the universe.
After a series of trial runs, two white dots flashed on a computer screen at 10:26 a.m. (0826 GMT) indicating that the protons had traveled clockwise along the full length of the 4 billion Swiss franc (US$3.8 billion) Large Hadron Collider — described as the biggest physics experiment in history.
"There it is," project leader Lyn Evans said when the beam completed its lap.
Champagne corks popped in labs as far away as Chicago, where contributing and competing scientists watched the proceedings by satellite.
Five hours later, scientists successfully fired a beam counterclockwise.
Physicists around the world now have much greater power to smash the components of atoms together in attempts to learn about their structure.
"Well done, everybody," said Robert Aymar, director-general of the European Organization for Nuclear Research, to cheers from the assembled scientists in the collider's control room at the Swiss-French border.
The organization, known by its French acronym CERN, began firing the protons — a type of subatomic particle — around the tunnel in stages less than an hour earlier, with the first beam injection at 9:35 a.m. (0735 GMT).
Eventually two beams will be fired at the same time in opposite directions with the aim of recreating conditions a split second after the big bang, which scientists theorize was the massive explosion that created the universe.
"My first thought was relief," said Evans, who has been working on the project since its inception in 1984. "This is a machine of enormous complexity. Things can go wrong at any time. But this morning has been a great start."
He didn't want to set a date, but said that he expected scientists would be able to conduct collisions for their experiments "within a few months."
The collider is designed to push the proton beam close to the speed of light, whizzing 11,000 times a second around the tunnel.
Scientists hope to eventually send two beams of protons through two tubes about the width of fire hoses, speeding through a vacuum that is colder and emptier than outer space. The paths of these beams will cross, and a few protons will collide. The collider's two largest detectors — essentially huge digital cameras weighing thousands of tons — are capable of taking millions of snapshots a second.
The CERN experiments could reveal more about "dark matter," antimatter and possibly hidden dimensions of space and time. It could also find evidence of the hypothetical particle — the Higgs boson — which is sometimes called the "God particle" because it is believed to give mass to all other particles, and thus to matter that makes up the universe.
The supercooled magnets that guide the proton beam heated slightly in the morning's first test, leading to a pause to recool them before trying the opposite direction.
The start of the collider came over the objections of some who feared the collision of protons could eventually imperil the Earth by creating micro-black holes, subatomic versions of collapsed stars whose gravity is so strong they can suck in planets and other stars.
"It's nonsense," said James Gillies, chief spokesman for CERN.
CERN was backed by leading scientists like Britain's Stephen Hawking , who declared the experiments to be absolutely safe.
Gillies told the AP that the most dangerous thing that could happen would be if a beam at full power were to go out of control, and that would only damage the accelerator itself and burrow into the rock around the tunnel.
Nothing of the sort occurred Wednesday, though the accelerator is still probably a year away from full power.
The project organized by the 20 European member nations of CERN has attracted researchers from 80 nations. Some 1,200 are from the United States, an observer country that contributed US$531 million. Japan, another observer, also is a major contributor.
Some scientists have been waiting for 20 years to use the LHC.
The complexity of manufacturing it required groundbreaking advances in the use of supercooled, superconducting equipment. The 2001 start and 2005 completion dates were pushed back by two years each, and the cost of the construction was 25 percent higher than originally budgeted in 1996, Luciano Maiani, who was CERN director-general at the time, told The Associated Press.
Maiani and the other three living former directors-general attended the launch Wednesday.
Smaller colliders have been used for decades to study the makeup of the atom. Less than 100 years ago scientists thought protons and neutrons were the smallest components of an atom's nucleus, but in stages since then experiments have shown they were made of still smaller quarks and gluons and that there were other forces and particles.

On this day, world scientists will attempt to discover more about the origins of the Universe by recreating the aftermath of the Big Bang. They will try to prove if there is any other dimensions exist aside from ours. None of these headlines will matter a bit, though, if two men pursuing a lawsuit in a court in Hawaii turn out to be right. They think a giant particle accelerator that will begin smashing protons together outside Geneva this summer might produce a black hole that will spell the end of the Earth - and maybe the universe.
Scientists say that is very unlikely - though they have done some checking just to make sure.
The world's physicists have spent 14 years and $8 billion building the Large Hadron Collider, in which the colliding protons will recreate energies and conditions last seen a trillionth of a second after the Big Bang. Researchers will sift the debris from these primordial recreations for clues to the nature of mass and new forces and symmetries of nature.
But Walter Wagner and Luis Sancho contend that scientists at the European Center for Nuclear Research, or CERN, have played down the chances that the collider could produce, among other horrors, a tiny black hole, which, they say, could eat the Earth. Or it could spit out something called a "strangelet" that would convert our planet to a shrunken dense dead lump of something called "strange matter." Their suit also says CERN has failed to provide an environmental impact statement as required under the U.S. National Environmental Policy Act.

Although it sounds bizarre, the case touches on a serious issue that has bothered scholars and scientists in recent years - namely how to estimate the risk of new groundbreaking experiments and who gets to decide whether or not to go ahead.
The lawsuit, filed March 21 in U.S. District Court in Honolulu, seeks a temporary restraining order prohibiting CERN from proceeding with the accelerator until it has produced a safety report and an environmental assessment. It names the U.S. Department of Energy, the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, the National Science Foundation and CERN as defendants.
According to a spokesman for the Justice Department, which is representing the Department of Energy, a scheduling meeting has been set for June 16.
Why should CERN, an organization of European nations based in Switzerland, even show up in a Hawaiian courtroom?
In an interview, Wagner said, "I don't know if they're going to show up." CERN would have to voluntarily submit to the court's jurisdiction, he said, adding that he and Sancho could have sued in France or Switzerland, but to save expenses they had added CERN to the docket here. He claimed that a restraining order on Fermilab and the Energy Department, which helps to supply and maintain the accelerator's massive superconducting magnets, would shut down the project anyway.
James Gillies, head of communications at CERN, said the laboratory as of yet had no comment on the suit. "It's hard to see how a district court in Hawaii has jurisdiction over an intergovernmental organization in Europe," Gillies said.
"There is nothing new to suggest that the LHC is unsafe," he said, adding that its safety had been confirmed by two reports, with a third on the way, and would be the subject of a discussion during an open house at the lab on April 6.
"Scientifically, we're not hiding away," he said.
But Wagner is not mollified. "They've got a lot of propaganda saying it's safe," he said in an interview, "but basically it's propaganda."
In an e-mail message, Wagner called the CERN safety review "fundamentally flawed" and said it had been initiated too late. The review process violates the European Commission's standards for adhering to the "Precautionary Principle," he wrote, "and has not been done by 'arms length' scientists."
Physicists in and out of CERN say a variety of studies, including an official CERN report in 2003, have concluded there is no problem. But just to be sure, last year the anonymous Safety Assessment Group was set up to do the review again.
"The possibility that a black hole eats up the Earth is too serious a threat to leave it as a matter of argument among crackpots," said Michelangelo Mangano, a CERN theorist who said he was part of the group. The others prefer to remain anonymous, Mangano said, for various reasons. Their report was due in January.
This is not the first time around for Wagner. He filed similar suits in 1999 and 2000 to prevent the Brookhaven National Laboratory from operating the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. That suit was dismissed in 2001. The collider, which smashes together gold ions in the hopes of creating what is called a "quark-gluon plasma," has been operating without incident since 2000.

I was home alone and decided to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water and maybe find a snack. Just as I approached the kitchen/dining room area (they're the same room and we have a bay-window/patio door there) I noticed what I immediately thought was a helicopter about 300-400 feet away, just across the street and above the tree-line. Because we kind of live in the country, I thought that was unusual... then it hit me that I couldn't hear any noise at all! And then the obvious shape difference hit me like a bag of rocks and I ran for my camera - literally (I almost tripped over a rug).

I don't know how long it was there before I saw it, but it hung around for 2 or 3 minutes after I noticed it... not moving or flashing or anything. The only thing I noticed was a sort of wavy-ness of the air surrounding the object - that's probably what stuck me most, actually. It resembled kind of what you see over a hot road on a summer day.

It was getting dark, but I distinctly remember the dark tree line shimmering just below the object, against the sky-glow. I had just enough time to take a picture on my camera (before the batteries died), and then I got one on my cell phone right before it "disappeared" --- I say that, because I believe it just went directly away from me at a high speed very suddenly... it actually appeared to grow smaller and disappear, but curve up slightly as it was doing so. The direction was about directly westward I believe.

Long ago, when I was a young kid, I remember seeing a funny light in the sky (from very far away) and watching it do all sorts of "tricks" ~ but I couldn't actually see it as an object. This is the only other time that I have seen something this close, that I know from my own eyes what I saw in a detailed manner. Very exciting indeed (although the first couple nights were difficult to sleep well!)

What Goes On In Skalitsa At Night?

There are sometimes very strange happening in Skalitsa during the night. Many a time we hear commotions of sound that can't be explained. Even when going outside to see where the noises come from there is nothing there to give reason for it. Also, there are the moving lights in the distance can be seen quite often. These varying coloured lights, from pale orange to red, two or more of these lights seem to rise and fall in synchronised fashion on the horizon sometimes moving sharply and other time just hovering.These unexplained things happen is in areas where no one lives, it is out in the wild country where only nature and wildlife live. What are these goings on that we often witness? The thing is that because there is a scarce population here, most in bed asleep as they have to rise early for the farm chores, there are not many witnesses that admit to these. Furthermore, they would be deemed as mad if they were to report. So the strange phenomenon goes on without investigation.

This article was found recently which was officially reported and now lays in the archives of the unexplained. Was it to do with the healing stones there or is it linked to the sights and sounds we hear often?

The circular orbital velocity of a satellite in low earth orbit is about 7 km/s or 25000 km/hr or 17500 miles/hr. If it reaches sqrt(2) times the circular velocity, it will escape from earth orbit and go into orbit about the sun.
The current record holder for a man made object is the New Horizons probe, which left earth orbit at 16 km/s.
A satellite can travel 5 miles per second, therefore that equals 300 miles a minute. So that means a satellite travels at an unbelievable speed of 18,000mph . THATS VERY FAST!!!!!!!!
